We're seeking a dynamic and motivated Manager for Software Release and Integration to join our Product Unit Giraffe AMB and ARTHUR. Your role

As the Manager for Software Release and Integration, you will lead a team responsible for the integration, verification, and release management of runtime, embedded real-time software, sensor software, and front-end software. You will be responsible to ensure the team has the right hardware to make the integration seamless.

Your team's work will be pivotal in ensuring our products deliver exceptional performance, reliability, and timely releases. You will play a crucial role in transitioning our team to a more agile, product-focused environment, accelerating development cycles including CI/CD and DevOps, and bringing our solutions closer to the end-users.

Key responsibilities:

• Leadership and Management: Lead the organization within the software release and integration section, reporting directly to the Head of Software Design for Giraffe AMB and ARTHUR. As the manager for Software Release and Integration, you are design responsible for the complete software delivery from the organization.
• Strategic Development: Drive strategic initiatives, resource planning, and competence development to ensure the unit's success, with a primary focus on continuously improving software integrations and releases on time with an agile and iterative approach.
• Project Delivery: Ensure timely and high-quality software deliveries, managing budgets and employee well-being. Execution focus is your main priority.
• Technical Expertise: Lead the integration and verification of complex software systems, focusing on real-time processing, system integration, and performance optimization across runtime, embedded, sensor, and front-end software.
• Release Management: Oversee the entire release management process, ensuring smooth and efficient software deployments that meet customer needs and regulatory standards.
• Digitalization Initiatives: Implement central digitalization initiatives across the company, focusing on improving the software release process including system design, implementation, integration, and verification, with focus on speed and simplifying the process to deliver faster.

You should demonstrate excellent communicative leadership skills, fostering a performance-driven culture and driving the unit towards common goals with an unwavering focus on execution.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• Proven experience in software integration, release management, and verification, with a background in runtime systems, real-time operating systems (RTOS), and/or embedded software development.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and coach employees, with a track record of successful software deliveries.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and an execution-focused approach.
• Familiarity of working with Configuration Management in large-scale embedded software.
• Robust business acumen and customer focus, ensuring that delivery meets customer needs.
• High energy, creativity, and a strong drive to succeed, with a passion for delivering results.
• Relevant professional or postgraduate qualifications in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
