The Headlines:   

In the role of Manager, Software Engineering you will be a hands-on, technical expert that will lean in heavily with MCBC’s delivery teams to bring solutions to life. You will provide leadership and oversight for the configuration, development, and optimization of Commercial Technology solutions where you will understand the entire solution delivery lifecycle bringing experience and expertise across design, build, test, deployment and support for the solutions we are building.

Sitting in our Milwaukee, Wi office, this role mentors technical leads and develops junior engineering resources, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. You'll also partner with engineering team members based outside the US, support stakeholders, and help shape the engineering standards and practices we use globally. With extensive experience building and deploying software solutions, you will ensure that high quality solutions are built by the delivery teams.

This leader plays a crucial role in developing technical solutions for the business, leveraging your expertise to solve complex technical problems based on technical acumen and broad and deep hands on experience delivering technical solutions.

What You’ll Be Brewing:

• Engage with and provide technical leadership to software delivery teams to ensure on-time, high quality, stable delivery of software solutions that meet business requirements throughout the entire Software Development Lifecycle covering design, build, testing, deployment and support.
• Lead software engineers effectively, ensuring a culture of curiosity and problem solving exists and that team members feel motivated and empowered by the work they do.
• Perform people management activities for a small team of IT professionals, including goals setting, people development performance management and career management.
• Work with external developers and engineers to ensure their work meets standards and requirements, where technical work has been outsourced.
• Stay current with the latest trends and best practices in SaaS applications, configurations, and software engineering for the sales and marketing arena.  

Key Ingredients:

• You have a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years experience developing on cloud and Software-as-a-Service platforms for Sales and Marketing applications
• You have at least 2 years of experience successfully managing a team, including direct supervisory and performance management responsibility.
• You have a proven track record successfully working across all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle to deliver high-quality technology solutions for the business
• You possess strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to create strong team culture, establish engineering practices and standards, and influence and guide engineering teams
• You have experience working and leading teams using agile development methodologies, tools
• You have strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
• You have excellent verbal and written communication skills, with comfort speaking to Sr. Director+ stakeholders in technology and business roles
• You possess the ability to collaborate with team members, and stakeholders - both technical and non-technical, both internal and 3rd party/vendor resources

Pay and Benefits:

At Molson Coors, we’re committed to paying people fairly and equitably for the work they do.

Job Posting Total Rewards Offerings: $126,500.00 - $166,100.00 (posting salary range) + 15% target short term incentive + $23,000 on average spent on benefits per employee, including but not limited to health, dental, vision, retirement with above market employer match, wellness incentives and EAP + paid time off (including holidays, vacation days and sick days).

The posting range provided above for salary is what we, in good faith, believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We ultimately pay based on a number of non-discriminatory factors that inform pay decisions including but not limited to the required work location, previous work experience, skill set and internal equity.
