Position Summary
Infor is seeking an experienced Manager, Software Development to lead the Development and Support organization for the Anael TT and Anael RS product portfolio.
This leader will be responsible for managing software engineering teams, driving product modernization initiatives, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality solutions that meet customer and business objectives.
The role combines people leadership, technical direction, product management responsibilities, and cross-functional collaboration. As Anael continues its modernization journey through the DMF program—including UX transformation and migration to SQL Server technologies—the Software Development Manager will play a critical role in defining strategy, leading execution, and enabling organizational success.
A Typical Day in the Life Includes
- Leading and developing a multidisciplinary team of software engineers, business analysts, and support professionals.
- Driving execution of the Anael product roadmap in partnership with Product Management, Sales, Professional Services, and Support.
- Managing software delivery from planning through release and maintenance.
- Establishing priorities, allocating resources, and ensuring successful project outcomes.
- Coaching, mentoring, and developing team members to maximize performance and career growth.
- Collaborating with architects and development leads to define technical strategies and modernization initiatives.
- Supporting the evolution of the Anael platform toward modern UX and SQL Server-based architectures.
- Ensuring adherence to software development best practices, quality standards, security requirements, and operational excellence.
- Leading agile planning activities, release management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Acting as the primary development representative in customer escalations and strategic discussions.
- Coordinating closely with Sales and GPS teams to align product capabilities with market requirements and customer expectations.
- Monitoring key delivery metrics and driving accountability across the organization.
- Fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and customer focus.
Leadership Responsibilities
- Build and maintain a high-performing engineering organization.
- Define objectives and performance expectations for direct reports.
- Conduct talent reviews, succession planning, and hiring activities.

Product Management Responsibilities
- Translate market and customer requirements into actionable product initiatives.
- Partner with Sales, Product Management, and Services teams to prioritize investments.
- Contribute to product strategy and roadmap development.
- Ensure business value is clearly understood and measured for delivered features.
- Balance innovation, technical debt reduction, compliance, and customer commitments.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Significant experience leading software development teams.
- Proven experience managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, application lifecycle management, and Agile methodologies.
- Experience with enterprise software development and maintenance.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead organizational change and modernization initiatives.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
- Fluent French and professional English proficiency.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in payroll, staffing, temporary workforce management, or ERP solutions.
- Familiarity with the Anael product suite.
- Experience with SQL Server, cloud technologies, and modernization programs.
- Understanding of UX transformation initiatives and customer-centric design approaches.
- Prior experience combining engineering leadership with product management responsibilities.
- Knowledge of modern DevOps and CI/CD practices.
- Experience working in a global, multicultural organization.
