About your team

Be part of a growing team which is heading towards a technical modernization programme and bring in own ideas and experience. In this role you will be part of an agile cross-functional team and help delivering functional enhancements for mission critical enterprise web applications in the transactional area which serves hundreds of thousands of customers.

About your role


You will have end2end responsibility to deliver scalable, performant, clean and maintainable solutions in the web and mobile area which adds value to FFBs business in the financial industry. Your key responsibilities are:

  • technical solution design and development
  • scoping of agile sprints and coordination with release management team
  • participate in software architectural changes and refactoring initiatives
  • implement enhancements on existing software solutions (BAU)
  • close collaboration with other delivery leads, business analysts, technical support teams and business stakeholders

About you

Eager to grow your knowledge and your career, you’ll fit right in. You’ll succeed because you:

  • have a solid long-term practical experience as full-stack software engineer in Java EE, Node.js or React
  • aim for highest software quality standards
  • have practical experience in cloud technologies, preferably AWS
  • have practical experience and understanding of relational databases (preferably Oracle RDBMS)
  • are able to identify refactoring and improvement opportunities (refactor as you go approach)
  • have strong communication skills across hierarchical levels and teams
  • are comfortable to communicate effectively in German and English language (both written and oral)
