SALARY: $84,800-$100,700, bonus eligible

The Social Media Manager plays a key role in driving brand growth, consumer engagement and bringing Anheuser-Busch's brands to life across all social platforms. This role leads cross-functional strategies spanning content creation, CRM execution, and risk mitigation while fostering strong partnerships.

You’ll shape how consumers experience our brands across digital channels by building authentic connections, creating culturally relevant content, and ensuring each interaction reflects the brand. This role includes developing content, managing social tone, partnering with internal teams to grow brand awareness, and leading CRM strategy for brand campaigns. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Act as the voice of our brands across social platforms (Instagram, Facebook, X, etc.), engaging directly with consumers in real time
  • Create meaningful, 1:1 interactions that build brand love, loyalty, and unforgettable consumer experiences
  • Own the end-to-end consumer journey across social ensuring every touchpoint reflects the voice and standards of Anheuser-Busch
  • Develop and publish engaging, on-brand content that taps into culture, trends, and what’s happening now
  • Identify and respond to emerging trends, conversations, and potential risks—escalating when needed and staying ahead of the moment
  • Build and execute strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging and audience identification. 
  • Partner cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners to resolve consumer needs, develop content and elevate the overall experience
  • Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, like promotions and competitions in addition to supporting giveaways, promotions, and merchandise fulfillment to enhance engagement and brand affinity
  • Collaborate with reporting and analytics teams to share insights and qualitative feedback from real consumer interactions
  • Leverage sound judgment to navigate sensitive or high-visibility situations with professionalism and brand alignment
  • Collaborate cross-functionally on organic social content calendar, social posting strategy, equity and earned campaign social plan, social reporting, paid support of organic social  
  • Support Merch & E-Commerce efforts   
  • Support ongoing website management and content upload, product launches, earned campaign page builds   
  • Manage budget for sweepstakes and surprise & delight effectively
  • Build and execute CRM strategy including emails for always on, earned, promo launches, and merchandise campaigns
  • Support execution of social earned ideas through creative ideation for real time moments
  • Streamline CM processes and look for constant improvement of Risk Mitigation efforts 
  • Build a deep understanding of Anheuser-Busch’s portfolio, brand positioning, and marketing strategies to ensure consistent and impactful engagement


JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, or a related field required
  • 3+ years of experience in marketing, communications, or social media platform management
  • Proven ability in managing social media platforms with an eye for what performs
  • Experience using CRM and Website platforms/tools
  • Deep understanding of internet culture, social trends, and what gets people to stop scrolling
  • Strong writing skills with a sharp sense of tone, voice, and attention to detail
  • Highly creative mindset with the ability to develop content that’s engaging, culturally relevant, and thoughtfully uses humor happens
  • Highly organized and proactive with the ability to juggle multiple projects, timelines, and priorities without missing a beat
  • Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a fast-moving environment
  • Strong communication and project management skills preferred
  • Adaptable and energized by change, with a solutions-first mindset
  • Able to support nights/weekends
  • Open to relocation for future growth opportunities
  • Bonus points for a passion for the beer/alcohol industry
