Belong to Something Beautiful

At Sephora Canada, beauty is about feeling seen, valued, and empowered, individually and collectively. It is connecting deeply with others, celebrating diversity and inclusivity, unlocking your potential and making a difference every day. Together, we belong to something beautiful.

Ready for a career glow-up? As Manager, Social Impact & Sustainability, you’ll bring our purpose to life across Canada - turning our commitments to people and planet into programs our clients and teams can see, join, and feel. The work you do will impact beauty, as you advance sustainability across packaging, waste, and carbon while growing employee giving and volunteering from coast to coast, aligned to our global cause. Reporting to the Director, Employee Engagement and Internal Communications, you’ll be part of a high-impact team that’s united in beauty, supported by those who are equally as passionate about doing the right thing for our communities and the planet.

What You’ll Do:

  • You’ll own our employee giving, matching gifts, and volunteering programs end-to-end — running the Benevity platform, building campaigns, and getting teams in stores, at our Field Support Centre (FSC) and distribution centres excited to take part.
  • You’ll lead national giving moments from concept to close, including our annual giving campaign, heritage and awareness month activations, and rapid-response disaster relief.
  • You’ll manage our partnerships — vetting new partners, shaping agreements, tracking deliverables and impact, and running annual partner reviews. You’ll collaborate with Marketing on key strategic partnerships (ie. Toronto Tempo) to find synergies that increase our impact
  • You’ll run product and in-kind donation programs with Merchandising, Inventory, and Supply Chain, covering eligibility, allocation, logistics, and charitable receipting.
  • You’ll drive sustainability workstreams that matter to our clients — packaging reduction and recyclability, in-store and distribution centre waste diversion, energy and emissions reduction, and refill and take-back programs.
  • You’ll partner with Merchandising and our brand partners on packaging and product sustainability standards, supplier data requests, and claims substantiation alongside Legal.
  • You’ll build the KPI framework, dashboards, and leadership reporting that show our progress - and use what the data tells you to sharpen the strategy.
  • You’ll contribute to our annual impact reporting and to LVMH global deliverables, including LIFE 360 commitments, ratings submissions, and client and partner questionnaires.
  • You’ll work with Communications and Marketing to create internal campaigns, field toolkits, and storytelling that make our impact real for every team member.
  • You’ll manage program budgets with Finance, forecasting, purchase orders, invoicing, and monthly variance tracking - and make sure every dollar lands against our impact priorities.

What You’ll Bring:

  • You have 5+ years of experience in social impact, corporate social responsibility, ESG, sustainability, or community engagement, including hands-on ownership of programs inside a large, multi-site organization.
  • You have taken a program from a (nearly) blank page through to launch with measurable results, and built the process, documentation, and reporting that made it stick.
  • You have strong analytical chops, advanced Excel skills, and the patience to work with imperfect data from multiple systems and owners.
  • You have managed budgets, vendors, and external partners, including contracting and invoice workflows.
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of building executive-ready presentations and influencing partners without direct authority.
  • You have a natural bias for organization and adaptability, with the judgment to prioritize when everything feels urgent.
  • You have a post-secondary degree in Sustainability, Environmental Studies, Business, Public Policy, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • You have (ideally) retail, beauty, or consumer goods experience, hands-on Benevity administration, and experience working in a global, matrixed organization.
  • You have comfort and confidence using digital and AI-enabled tools responsibly in your day-to-day work.
  • Nice to have… fluency in French

What You’ll Get:

  • Caring Community. You’ll collaborate with teammates who are equally passionate about innovating, doing the right things, and driving the industry forward – together, united in beauty.
  • Fulfilling Path. Your career glow-up starts here with access to opportunities that will challenge, stretch, and develop your skills. You’ll have access to the global community of luxury group LVMH (Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy) for endless career opportunities.
  • Meaningful Work. As you make an impact on beauty, you’ll feel and see the positive change (consumer, industry, and social) your individual voice is a part of.

Rewards as Unique as You Are:

Eligibility requirements apply to certain benefits and may vary depending on job classification and length of employment.

  • Wealth. We offer a comprehensive compensation package, including competitive salary, bonus potential, RRSP matching. We’re passionate about pay equity and transparency. The annual base range salary for this position is $87,900 – $98,300 plus RRSP matching.
  • Health. Choose a healthcare plan to fit you and your family’s needs with medical, dental, vision, life, and disability coverage. Access to our Well-Being@Sephora program to support your mental, financial, physical, and social well-being.
  • Balance. You’ll be trusted to find the perfect blend of work/life balance that actually works for you with a hybrid work schedule, vacation and flex days, and maternity/paternity leave.
  • Growth. A career glow-up is built into every role, with access to training and development, as well as tuition reimbursement.
  • Perks. Think you’ve tried it all? Enjoy a 30% discount on all merchandise/services, opportunities for gratis, and flash sale discounts on LVMH brands.
  • Support. Tap into volunteer and donation matching, Employee Assistance Program, and free mental health resources with 24/7 access to Dialogue.
