The SMT Process Engineering Manager role located in Hsinchu, Taiwan, offers an outstanding opportunity to impact our pioneering efforts. Reporting directly to Operations Management in Santa Clara, CA you will lead a local SMT Engineers team in support of NPI and mass production SMT process development and issue resolution. What you'll be doing:
Characterizing and validating SMT processes to ensure flawless operations.
Managing quality control and implementing strict quality management practices.
Heading a team of SMT Engineers, guiding them to attain outstanding outcomes.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve critical issues and report findings.
Supporting new product introductions (NPI) and ensuring seamless transition to mass production.
Communicating progress and challenges to Operations Management in Santa Clara, CA.
Determining and implementing process improvements to maintain world-class standards.
What we need to see:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or comparable experience.
Proven experience in SMT process characterization and validation.
Minimum of 8 overall years in engineering roles with at least 2 years in a leadership position.
Strong knowledge of quality management systems and practices.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a track record of resolving critical issues.
Effective communication skills for reporting and team collaboration.
Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
Master’s degree in Engineering or a related area, or equivalent experience.
Experience in a high-tech, fast-paced environment.
Established experience in handling NPI and mass production workflows.
Familiarity with NVIDIA’s products and technologies.
Proven ability to lead and encourage a team to achieve ambitious goals.
