Supervises and coordinates the activities of all production operations and operating workers including floor operations, production control, and interface with our Engineering Department, Quality Assurance, and Logistics to ensure all necessary drawings, materials, and Quality Assurance requirements are being implemented and met in accordance with applicable codes. The position requires extensive knowledge in welding and metal fabrication and mechanical equipment assembly. Coordinates workload and ensures all materials are readily available for the production team to fabricate equipment and meet our requirements in the rapidly growing alternative fuel market.

Annual salary: $77,070- $138,765
Directs staffing including hiring and terms of all staff and direct personnel.
Ensures a safe work environment.
Plans and coordinate fabrication schedule with shop leads
Resolves all production time, turf and job scope issues and conflicts.
Decides shift and overtime issue.
Participates in all employee discipline actions.
Review material requirements for each project and ensure all materials required to complete the projects are available.
Review all drawings and resolve issues or conflicts working with Engineering and QA Departments.
Coordinate with Quality Assurance Supervisor/Inspector on QA requirements and schedule for NDT and other QA required inspections as per applicable codes.
Prepares and submits all proposals for capital expenditures.
Manages the physical plant and security for all departments.
Establishes (a) workflow, (b) make buy, and (c) work rule policies.
Supplies general management with reports on production operations.
Supplies controller with information for determination of rates and cash flow projections.
Bachelor's degree in mechanical or manufacturing engineering, master's degree preferred.
Ten years of experience in Industrial/ Manufacturing management. Preferably in a welding shop fabrication / manufacturing and equipment assembly.
Well verse on ASME Process Piping and Pressure Vessel requirements.
Complete understanding of P&ID and Fabrication Drawings.
Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, cost management, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods
Ability to analyze relative costs and benefits of potential actions and choose the most appropriate.
Ability to identify complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
Excellent verbal and written skills.
Excellent organizational skills.
Ability to motivate team efforts to accomplish goals.
Willingness to work in a noisy environment with exposure to dust, fumes, and heat
Knowledge of computer applications (Microsoft Office Suites and Microsoft Project)
Primary responsibilities will be performed in the shop manufacturing facility.
