The Manager – Service Sales is responsible for driving service revenue growth through AMCs, spare parts, batteries, retrofits, and after‑sales solutions. The role demands strong commercial discipline, technical understanding, customer engagement skills, and the ability to manage billing, collections, and service performance across the region. The ideal candidate is target-driven, analytical, customer-focused, and capable of strengthening Eaton’s installed-base profitability.
"1. Revenue, Billing & Collection Performance
Achieve monthly targets for order booking, billing, and collections as per the assigned budget.
Maintain strong command over prospecting, order booking, invoicing, and collection processes.
Drive disciplined follow-up to accelerate cash flow and reduce aging.
2. Accounts Receivable Management
Work on all outstanding AR to systematically reduce dues month-over-month.
Bring down the region’s DSO (Days Sales Outstanding) through proactive planning and customer engagement.
3. Technical Competence & Solution Support
Provide technical support for service sales opportunities including: Battery sizing, Monitoring solutions, Retrofit and upgrade recommendations
Assist field teams with pre‑sales technical clarifications and solutioning.
4. Business Planning & Opportunity Mapping
Prepare detailed Annual Business Plans based on the installed base and available service opportunities.
Identify growth opportunities across AMCs, batteries, spares, and digital service offerings.
5. Quote Management & Closure Tracking
Maintain accurate records of all service quotations submitted.
Track proposals through their lifecycle and drive conversion to order closure.
6. AMC Renewal & Contract Management
Ensure 100% on-time renewal of AMC contracts with structured tracking mechanisms.
Ensure contracts meet required GP (Gross Profit) and comply with all statutory and company standards.
7. Tender Handling
Handle service tenders related to AMC, batteries, and spares including documentation, compliance, and pricing.
8. Customer & ASP Engagement
Meet 3–4 ASPs (Authorized Service Partners) / customers per day to ensure lead generation and relationship building.
Conduct monthly/quarterly service audits at ASP locations to prevent leakage of business.
Maintain updated hierarchy-mapped records of all ASPs and customers.
9. Contractual & Service Delivery Performance
Plan and ensure timely execution of all contractual commitments for customer installations and after-sales service.
Collaborate with service delivery teams to ensure SLA adherence and continuity of service.
10. Customer Satisfaction
Maintain high customer satisfaction across assigned product lines and customer accounts.
Resolve escalations proactively and ensure a smooth customer experience.
11. Travel Requirement
Extensive travel across the assigned region to strengthen customer relationships and generate opportunities."
Bachelor’s in Electrical / Electronics Engineering (preferred).
8–10 years of experience in service sales, AMC sales, or aftermarket technical sales roles.
"Strong understanding of UPS, batteries, power systems, and related after‑sales services.
Solid understanding of AR management, billing, and collection cycles.
Technical aptitude in battery sizing, monitoring solutions, and service application engineering.
Proficient in pipeline tracking, CRM usage, and service analytics.
Familiarity with Salesforce is desirable."
