Our aim is to create tailored energy solutions for evolving global energy markets.We are looking for a Manager / Senior Manager Quality to lead the department supporting tenders and FEEDs.Key Tasks & Responsibilities:Deliver the requirements described in BWO’s Quality policy, standards and management system across the tender, FEED / pre-FEED and project execution phases within the department’s scopeAct as the department’s Quality focal point for the review of client tender documents (ITT / RFP, contract quality exhibits, client quality specifications and inspection requirements), ensuring client requirements are fully understood, gaps are identified and BWO’s quality offering is compliant, competitive and deliverableAct as Quality Department Manager towards the client for projects in FEED / pre-FEED execution, representing BWO in client quality interfaces, reviews, audits and steering meetingsMonitor and ensure compliance with BWO standards and contractual quality requirements across the department’s portfolio of tenders and projectsEnsure positive quality performance by setting clear expectations, monitoring progress, and addressing gaps and deficienciesProvide assurance that quality risks are identified and mitigated at the tender, FEED and execution stages, and that appropriate risk acceptance criteria are met before commitments are made to clientsEnsure robust and timely resolution of quality non-compliance and violationsCoordinate experience transfer (lessons learned) and other learning processes with special focus on Quality across tenders and projectsLead, manage and develop the department’s QA/QC resources, and coordinate the deployment of quality personnel to tenders and projectsQualifications:Degree in Engineering or HSEQ related majorSignificant relevant experience with pertinent credentials / certifications may replace formal educationManager: ideally 15 years of relevant experience in the offshore Oil & Gas industry, or closely related industrySenior Manager: ideally 20 years of relevant experience in the offshore Oil & Gas industry, including previous experience leading a Quality department or functionPrevious experience working in a similar roleExperience in providing Quality support to tenders / bids, including the review of client tender documents and preparation of Quality tender deliverablesExperience in FEED / pre-FEED and EPC execution of FPSO or offshore facilities, including definition of quality requirements for EPC contracts and interfacing with clients and classification societiesExperience in development of Quality documentation and reviewExperience as Quality Lead AuditorPrevious experience working in a multinational environment is desirableSkills:Team player with the ability to leadProactive and able to work independently, applying a structured and systematic approachExcellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to represent BWO credibly in client-facing forumsCommercially aware, with the ability to balance quality requirements against tender competitiveness and project deliverabilityAbility to deliver in a high pressure, fast-paced tender and project environmentAbility to deliver high quality work on timeAbility to work in a multidisciplinary / multinational environmentExcellent managerial skillsAbility to think strategicallyGood knowledge of quality assurance and control processes across engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction and commissioningUnderstand the various engineering disciplines and their interactionIn-depth knowledge of ISO 9001, departmental function, terminology and interrelationshipsGood understanding of contract quality requirements, tender processes and the preparation of Quality tender deliverablesExtensive knowledge of the relevant requirements of the classification societies and international rules and regulationsGood knowledge of welding, NDT, coating and material certification requirements; CSWIP / NACE (AMPP) certification is desirableCertified Lead Auditor in ISO 9001Fluent in English (oral and written)Our Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion
