About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Manager or Senior Manager to join our growing Indirect Tax team in Sydney.

You will continue to develop your specialist expertise through exposure to complex client matters, ongoing technical development opportunities and close collaboration with experienced Partners and Directors, while mentoring team members, contributing to the growth of the practice and helping deliver exceptional outcomes for our clients.

Key responsibilities:

  • Assist clients to manage their indirect tax obligations and governance frameworks, including managing multiple ongoing lodgement obligations
  • Assist clients in meeting their regulatory requirements by liaising with the ATO and other State Revenue Authorities, preparing submissions, returns, and responses to reviews
  • Mentor and develop team members through coaching, technical guidance and review, contributing to a high-performing and collaborative team culture

About You

  • Demonstrated experience in indirect tax or a similar advisory/technical consulting environment within professional services, law, government or industry
  • Strong technical capability with the ability to interpret and apply legislation and guidance in a practical, commercial context
  • Proven experience managing client relationships and leading the delivery of complex advisory engagements
  • Experience leading, mentoring and developing team members
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in Commerce, Law, or a combined Law/Business or Commerce degree
