Manager / Senior Investment Analyst

We are seeking a highly analytical and results-driven Senior Investment Analyst / Manager to join our dynamic team in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. The ideal candidate will bring a robust understanding of corporate finance, a proficiency in financial modeling, Due Diligence and a deep knowledge of the local market dynamics.

Responsibilities

• Market Research Provide thorough market analysis across fintech, medtech, IT, agribusiness, and processing industries, focusing on trends and potential growth opportunities.
• Business Valuation Construct financial models from scratch, including multiplier-based models and Discounted Cash Flow (DCF), to evaluate business value.
• Investment Analysis and Due Diligence Conduct detailed analytical assessments and financial due diligence on potential investment opportunities to ascertain viability and risks.
• External Consultant Engagement: Collaborate with auditors, financial and legal consultants, investors, and other key third parties to secure critical information and synchronize strategic objectives.
• Reporting and Presentations Develop informational materials and presentations for top management and board members, summarizing findings and recommendations in a clear and impactful manner.
• Specialized Projects Handle diverse and non-standard tasks from top management, including selecting and analyzing investment targets.
• Financial Reporting Prepare monthly and weekly financial analysis reports, forecasting market situations and identifying prospects for various projects.
• Team Collaboration Work under the supervision and in cooperation with the Bureau manager to ensure alignment and efficiency in all activities.

Requirements

• Education Bachelors or Masters degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field. Participation in or completion of the CFA program is an advantage.
• 3-5 years in corporate finance, with preferred experience in Private Equity, Investment Banking, M&A, or Consulting.
• Strong knowledge of corporate finance and extensive experience in DCF modeling and Due Diligence.
• Experience in fintech, medtech, IT, agribusiness, and processing industries is beneficial.
• Fluent in English and Russian.
• Self-motivated and result-oriented, capable of working independently.
