MAIN JOB OBJECTIVE

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Designer, Global Visual Merchandising, to support the development, execution, and rollout of global visual merchandising frameworks across all physical channels of distribution. Reporting to and collaborating with the Senior Director, Global Visual Merchandising and Store Design, this role is responsible for translating global VM strategies, standards, and campaign concepts into clear, scalable directives, guidelines, and toolkits that enable strong and consistent regional execution.

The Senior Designer acts as a key operational and creative partner across Global HQ and regional teams, ensuring visual merchandising guidelines are implemented with fidelity to brand standards while accommodating channel and market-specific needs.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Global VM Guidelines & Campaign Execution

  • Support the development and rollout of global visual merchandising guidelines across campaigns, interiors, windows, and special activations
  • Translate global VM principles and campaign concepts into clear, executable directives and toolkits for regional teams
  • Maintain planogram logic, graphic, and propping standards in line with brand codes and commercial objectives. Campaigns, Activations & Interior Merchandising
  • Coordinate end-to-end execution of campaign VM materials, ensuring consistency across channels and markets
  • Execute global interior merchandising principles across boutiques, shop-in-shops, and open-sell environments, enabling appropriate regional adaptation
  • Support pop-ups, special animations, and high-visibility initiatives through guideline development and asset coordination

Cross-Functional & Regional Partnership

  • Act as a key liaison between Global HQ, regional VM teams, Creative, and Purchasing to ensure clear communication and strong execution
  • Partner with external vendors on prototyping, production, and rollout of VM elements
  • Support new market and store openings through VM directives and execution guidance

What you will learn (and/or achieve) in the first 6 months:

  • How campaign concepts are translated into executable guidelines across channels and markets
  • fresh’s global retail landscape, distribution models, and key regional differences.
  • How to develop and adapt VM guidelines for varied channel requirements while maintaining brand consistency
  • How Global HQ, Creative, Purchasing, and regional VM teams partner through the campaign lifecycle

What you will achieve in 12 months:

  • Independently lead the development and rollout of global VM guidelines for multiple campaigns or initiatives
  • Deliver consistent, on-brand VM execution across regions through clear directives and strong cross-functional coordination
  • Contribute meaningfully to the evolution of global VM standards based on execution learnings and regional feedback
  • Be a trusted partner to regional teams for campaign execution, interior merchandising, and special activations

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position on average of 7.5 hours/day
  • Light to moderate lifting may be required
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be regularly required to stand, sit, reach, stoop, kneel, and operate a computer, telephone, and keyboard

Qualifications

PROFILE

You have:

  • 5–7+ years of experience in visual merchandising and retail design, with exposure to global or multi-market environments
  • Proven ability to translate brand strategy and campaign concepts into clear, scalable VM guidelines and toolkits
  • Strong visual communication skills, including hand sketches, 2D layouts, and 3D renderings
  • Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, SketchUp (or equivalent) and Microsoft Office
  • Experience in prestige beauty, lifestyle, or fashion retail preferred.
  • Strong understanding of materials, fabrication methods, production processes, and cost implications
  • Demonstrated project management capability, managing multiple initiatives and timelines across functions and regions
  • Experience partnering with creative, production, and regional teams to deliver consistent VM execution
  • Strong aesthetic judgment with a well-developed visual sensibility aligned to premium and brand-driven environments
