The Self-Service Terminal (SST) System Development Manager supports SST within the Bank. The primary objective is to manage system support, project implementation, quality assurance, and business analysis for Automated Teller Machines (ATM), Cash Recycling Terminals (CRT), Cheque Host Machines (CHM), and Teller Cash Recycler (TCR) units to ensure optimal performance, security, and user satisfaction.

The successful candidate will report to the Head of SST.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Functional (job responsibilities)

  • Run SST system enhancement and compliance projects from early opportunity analysis through to final completion.

  • Perform gap analysis and prepare detailed user requirements and test scripts covering all system needs.

  • Execute approved SST projects and enhancements, ensuring they remain on schedule and within budgetary controls.

  • Act as the primary contact point for internal departments and external organizations regarding SST projects and system support.

  • Provide technical support to the operations team, ensuring timely ownership and resolution of system issues.

  • Manage SST software version control and perform periodic health checks, including Disaster Recovery (DR) and software deployment checks.

  • Manage Electronic Banking System (EBS) user/system maintenance and card Bank Identification Number (BIN) updates as directed by PayNet.

  • Ensure all SST systems comply with regulatory requirements and lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Business Acceptance Testing (BAT) following SDLC procedures.

  • Conduct SST Security Alert Assessments and develop/update all system and user manuals to reflect new processes.

Jobholder Requirements

  • Malaysian citizen.

Education/Qualification

  • Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Business and Finance, Information Systems Management, or a relevant field of study.

Experience/Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a service-orientated industry, preferably with SST systems management experience.

  • Proven skills in UAT (User Acceptance Testing) strategies and Quality Assurance (QA) initiatives.

  • Proficient in MS Office, specifically advanced functions like Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP.

  • Strong system analytical skills and business sense.

  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Ability to work effectively under minimum supervision.
