Job Description

  • The Segment Growth Marketing Manager, focused on the Enterprise and Government segments, sits within the Segment Revenue & Growth Marketing team and drives demand, pipeline growth, and market leadership for Vertiv’s solutions. The role requires deep expertise in Enterprise markets (Finance, Retail, and Education), and Government (Federal Civilian, Defense, Intelligence, Prime Contractors, Integrators, and SLED), including buyer personas, procurement cycles, regulatory environments, and enterprise IT, facilities, and AI-driven workloads—translating these insights into compelling messaging, content, and go-to-market programs.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Market Reputation & Content Activation

  • Elevate Vertiv’s brand leadership across Enterprise (Finance, Retail, Education) and Government Sector (Federal Civilian, Defense, Intelligence, Prime Contractors, Integrators, and SLED) market segments .
  • Activate vertical-specific messaging and content that positions Vertiv as a trusted partner in mission-critical Enterprise and Government sector environments.
  • Support thought leadership programs, industry events, innovation visits, and customer engagements.
  • Ensure consistent messaging across campaigns, presentations, events, and customer touchpoints.

Strategic Relationships & Ecosystem Engagement

  • Act as the day-to-day marketing partner for sellers and segment stakeholders.
  • Build and deepen relationships with executives, influencers, and decision-makers across enterprise and government accounts.
  • Partner with Systems Integrators, solution providers, alliances, and integrators to support joint go-to-market initiatives.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Global COEs, Brand, Content, Digital, and Product Marketing to ensure effective execution.

Revenue & Demand Generation Execution

  • Execute integrated demand generation programs aligned to revenue targets for Enterprise and Government segments.
  • Drive qualified pipeline and revenue growth by shaping demand and influencing high-value opportunities across enterprise and government segments.
  • Partner with Sales to align marketing activities with account plans, opportunity stages, and segment priorities.
  • Track campaign performance, report results, and optimize programs based on data and feedback.

Sales Enablement & Field Support

  • Execute sales enablement initiatives, including vertical value propositions, playbooks, presentations, and customer-ready assets.
  • Support sellers with customer insights, use cases, and competitive positioning relevant to each segment.
  • Gather field feedback to continuously improve enablement tools and marketing programs.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or related field.
  • 8-10 years of experience in B2B marketing, segment marketing, or demand generation within industrial, critical infrastructure, power, or data center environments.
  • Experience supporting Enterprise and Government segments is strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise buying cycles, multi-stakeholder decision-making, and account-based marketing.
  • Strong execution skills with attention to detail, timelines, and follow-through.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive pipeline creation, acceleration, and revenue influence.
  • Excellent communication, storytelling, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-impact role.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to support customers, partners, and key events.
  • Marketing Automation Platform (Eloqua), 6sense, and/or CRM Platform (Oracle Sales Cloud), Sprinklr, and Wrike are strongly preferred.

  • Experience in a global, multi-cultural environment.
  • Ability to work in standard office environment.

TIME TRAVEL REQUIRED

  • 10%.
