General Description:

The SAP Finance Systems Manager – General Ledger is a critical role within Finance Technology, responsible for the support, sustainment, and continuous improvement of SAP Finance capabilities at BeOne This role requires strong hands-on SAP Finance expertise, with a good understanding of how Finance integrates with upstream and downstream business processes and SAP modules.

The position focuses on managing and enhancing SAP Financial Accounting (FI) capabilities, supporting day-to-day operations, and delivering system improvements that improve efficiency, compliance, and user experience. Key areas include entity enablement, intercompany reconciliation, tax configuration, statutory reporting, and month end close processes Experience with consolidation and broader Finance platforms is a plus.

This role serves as a primary point of contact for Finance stakeholders, partnering closely with business teams and GTS colleagues to support global operations, enhancements, and scalable solution design.

The SAP Finance Systems Manager – General Ledger is expected to:

  • Partner with Finance stakeholders to identify, design, and implement SAP improvements that enhance efficiency and productivity

  • Evaluate process, technology, and data gaps and recommend practical solutions

  • Define, build, and improve SAP Finance business processes and data dependencies

  • Act as the solution point of contact for assigned SAP Finance areas

  • Ensure adherence to audit, control, and compliance standards for supported applications

Essential Functions of the Job:

As a SAP Finance Solutions Manager, you will work hands-on across operational support and enhancement delivery while collaborating closely with business partners and other solution teams. You will:

  • Own and support SAP Finance solutions across operational run and future improvements

  • Partner with business and solution managers to develop roadmaps covering support, enhancements, and new implementations

  • Lead discussions on Finance processes including month end close, intercompany reconciliation, master data setup, and integrations

  • Provide hands-on SAP Finance expertise across:

    • General Ledger

    • Multi Currency & FX Mgmt.

    • Fixed Assets

    • Month End Processing

    • Intercompany Reconciliation

    • Statutory reporting

    • Integration touchpoints (e.g., EBS and adjacent systems)

  • Lead SAP Finance discussions for assigned solution areas

  • Participate in cross functional process and integration discussions

  • Contribute to strengthening overall solution maturity by expanding knowledge into adjacent domains

  • Support project planning, execution, and communication with transparency across stakeholders

  • Serve as accountable owner for specific audit related activities and applications

  • Gather, document, and validate business and functional requirements

  • Perform fit‑gap analysis and support functional design documentation

  • Assist with build, test, deployment, and hypercare activities

  • Execute and support system and user testing

Your daily responsibilities will vary, but you may find yourself:

  • Partnering with Finance and GTS colleagues on demand prioritization

  • Implementing new SAP FI/CO requirements and enhancements

  • Supporting operational run for existing SAP Finance solutions

  • Analyzing and documenting current business processes and system behavior

  • Designing and testing new Finance processes and capabilities

  • Developing user documentation, communications, and training materials

  • Supporting or configuring portions of SAP Finance functionality

This role provides exposure to global Finance operations and technology, building deep understanding of Finance processes in a complex, international environment.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in a technical, ERP, or consulting environment

  • 5+ years of experience with systems integrations and implementations

  • 5+ years of experience across the full systems development lifecycle (design, build, test, deploy, support)

Education Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related field; Master’s preferred.

Preferred Skills:

  • 5+ years of SAP Finance experience

  • Experience supporting SAP Finance across localization requirements

  • Exposure to adjacent Finance technologies (e.g., BlackLine, Consolidation Engines)

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and Finance processes

  • Project delivery experience preferred

  • Experience with requirements analysis, testing, and end‑user training

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)

  • Strong documentation and technical writing skills

  • Experience with reporting and data visualization tools a plus
