We are looking for a Manager SAP FICO - to join our team!

Your Responsibilities:

This is a dual-mandate role: the Manager, SAP FICO operates simultaneously as the Industry and Application Lead for Curtiss-Wright’s SAP Financial Accounting and Controlling (FICO) functional area, and as the People Manager providing leadership, direction, and portfolio-level oversight to the SAP FICO team. Both pillars are core, co-equal responsibilities of the role.

SAP FICO is hands-on work for this role — the Manager, SAP FICO works directly in the SAP system as the functional subject matter expert across both Financial Accounting and Controlling and is not siloed to one side of the practice.

Location: Remote, US

Salary Range: $144,100 – 192,100

Your Challenge:

  • Lead the functional area of SAP FICO and work with Business Process Owners (BPOs) and their teams to establish and prioritize Curtiss-Wright process needs and support legacy processes and application integration

  • Architect and lead global design and solution strategy for SAP S/4HANA Finance and Controlling across Curtiss-Wright’s Defense Electronics segment, ensuring alignment with enterprise-wide standards and templates

  • Own end-to-end SAP FICO solution architecture, spanning General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Asset Accounting, Cash Management & Treasury, Cost Center Accounting, Internal Order Accounting, Product Costing (CO-PC), Profitability Analysis (CO-PA), and Material Ledger, ensuring consistency and harmonization across business units

  • Own the integration of SAP FICO with SAP Project Systems (PS), including project and WBS element structuring, budget control of investment measures, periodic settlement of WBS elements to Assets, and asset capitalization for project-driven and engineer-to-order (ETO) scenarios

  • Serve as advisor to business Finance and Controlling teams, advising on advanced SAP S/4HANA FICO capabilities and supporting the creation and maintenance of the finance systems roadmap

  • Drive global template design and standardization for FICO, balancing segment-specific requirements (e.g., Defense Electronics) against enterprise-wide consistency

  • Provide guidance and subject matter expertise to support application management processes and defect resolution in the FICO process area

  • Create and maintain process and technical documentation, such as functional and technical specifications and end-user training materials

What you Bring:

  • 10+ years of experience in SAP Finance and Controlling Module of SAP is a must.

  • Experience working in at least two S/4HANA Implementation projects

  • Minimum of 3 lifecycle implementation in SAP focused on Finance and its integrations with other SAP module

  • Strong functional knowledge on the SAP GL, AA, COPC, COPA, and overall SAP functional knowledge (integration with other components / modules) required

  • Expertise in SAP S/4 HANA Core and S/4 HANA Data Model, SAP Fiori Apps

  • Understanding SAP Finance Data, Data extracting, Data Cleansing

  • Strong experience with Agile/Scrum processes and testing tools

  • Experience with Cognitus make it preferable then others

  • Excellent time management/schedule skills; ability to meet deliverables

  • Results-oriented and demonstrated experience in leading work sessions with multiple stakeholders

  • Willingness to work as per the project need and travel as per the project needs
