Job Description

Your responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and assist other developers, analysts, and designers in conceptualizing and developing new SAP software programs and applications as part of the global SAP S/4 HANA roll out project.
  • Assist in the preparation and documentation of SAP software requirements and specifications.
  • Recommend, schedule, and perform SAP software improvements and upgrades.
  • Consistently write, translate, and code SAP software programs and applications according to specifications.
  • Run and monitor SAP software performance tests on new and existing programs for the purposes of correcting errors, isolating areas for improvement, and general debugging.
  • Conducting thorough code reviews to identify and fix bugs and ensure adherence to coding standards.
  • Support implementation of automated testing procedures to validate the functionality and performance of the software.
  • Providing regular status reports on the quality of the software to management and stakeholders.
  • Generate statistics and prepare and write reports for management and/or team members on the status of the programming process.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of user manuals and guidelines.
  • SAPUI5 developer for frontend and backend (OData Services / CDS-Views) environments.
  • Liaise with Globa Process Owner, Global ERP Leads, network administrators, systems analysts, and software engineers to assist in resolving problems with SAP software products or company SAP software systems.
  • Manage and/or provide guidance to junior SAP developers and external AMS companies.

Qualifications we are looking for:

  • College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science or software engineering, and/or equivalent work experience.
  • Working technical knowledge of SAP programming languages, including ABAP as well as certifications in SAP ABAP development.
  • Strong knowledge of Fiori Apps and BTP.
  • Experience in leading and managing software developers and experience in working with SAP enterprise applications.
  • Hands-on experience working in integrated development environments, including SAP development tools.
  • Solid working knowledge of current Internet technologies, including SAP Web technologies.
  • Hands-on SAP software troubleshooting experience.
  • Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and security.
  • Familiarity with SAP software development methodologies.
  • Business fluent in English; German is of advantage
