Job Specific Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
New business development and support:
Utilizes and adheres to the sales process as outlined by sales management and works with the sales team members to ensure consistent and accurate application
Work and communicate with Global, Regional and Local Sales to ensure timely and correct contributions
Acts as primary point of contact for sales team members for the purposes of CRM guidance
Liaises with marketing for the purposes of lead development and marketing initiatives
Assigns leads and manages any incoming sales enquiries
Reporting:
Utilize company provided CRM to document and support all sales activities
Provides reporting on sales activities as defined
Provide and meet deadlines for reporting as requested by management
Analyses and recommendation:
Identifies areas of pipeline weakness and commentary for development
Manages the CRM to ensure suitability for the purposes of sales measurement by leadership
Establish and maintain relationships:
Establishes and maintains relationships with key stakeholders at all levels within the BCD Travel organization
Maintains good working relationships with all network partner countries
Sales collateral support:
Sources appropriate client references as required and maintains client reference database
Pipeline development:
Maintains global target list
Schedules and provides all supporting information for periodic SPI review as required by sales leaders.
Makes an active contribution to SPI calls
Conducts periodic reviews with sales team members and/or leaders to review activity and all activities are correctly documented and current.
Ensures all records are allocated to the correct sales owners
Education / Knowledge / Experience
Essential:
3-5 years experience of working within an administration role including CRM applications
Experience working within large business environment
Effective communication skills, oral, written and presentation
Experienced with MS Word, Excel
Computer literate in business software applications
Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally
Preferred:
College degree
Travel or related industry experience
Second language
