Safety Management System:
Design and implement comprehensive Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems (OHSMS) programs tailored for Coal Washeries within the Cluster.
Evaluate and update annual safety plans and procedures to ensure alignment with organizational objectives and industry best practices.
Establish a structured safety training schedule for both Adani employees and contractors, ensuring timely and effective completion of all required programs.
Facilitate employee training sessions to communicate safety protocols and promote best practices across key safety areas, including life safety, chemical safety, and hazardous materials management.
Assess the effectiveness of safety programs and introduce necessary improvements to enhance overall safety performance.
Oversee budget planning and resource allocation for all safety initiatives, ensuring sufficient funding to maintain and improve workplace safety standards.
IMS Implementation and Monitoring:
Ensure cluster wide implementation of Adani’s safety strategy and compliance with IMS standards including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.
Conduct safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments across all sites in the cluster.
Monitor safety performance and implement corrective actions to address non conformities.
Incident Management and Root Cause Analysis:
Investigate accidents and near miss incidents within the cluster, conducting root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
Collaborate with site teams to develop preventive measures and safety improvement initiatives.
Training and Awareness:
Deliver safety training sessions and toolbox talks to enhance awareness and compliance at site levels.
Ensure workers, contractors, and supervisors are well trained in emergency response, risk assessment, and workplace safety procedures.
Contractor and Compliance Management:
Oversee contractor safety management and ensure compliance with safety guidelines.
Ensure adherence to all legal, regulatory, and client specific safety requirements across the cluster.
Technology and Safety Innovation:
Implement digital tools for safety reporting, monitoring, and compliance tracking.
Leverage technology for real time hazard identification and response within the cluster.
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
Diploma in Safety Management
15 to 20 years of experience in industrial safety with hands on exposure to site level safety management
Strong knowledge of IMS, legal compliance, and risk assessment methodologies
