The opportunity
At EY, we’re looking for a Manager to join our Risk Consulting practice, focusing on Capital Projects advisory. In this role, you will work with leading clients across sectors such as infrastructure, energy, and government, helping them manage risks across the full lifecycle of large-scale capital projects.
You will play a key role in delivering high-quality advisory services, supporting clients in improving governance, controls, and project performance, while contributing to the growth of EY’s Capital Projects and Infrastructure offering.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and deliver risk consulting engagements across capital projects, including project governance, controls assurance, and performance monitoring
- Support clients in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks across project lifecycle phases (planning, execution, and close-out)
- Advise clients on improving project controls frameworks, including cost control, scheduling, and risk management practices
- Review and assess capital project performance, identifying gaps and recommending practical, value-driven solutions
- Lead workstreams or small teams on larger engagements, ensuring quality delivery and timelines
- Prepare client deliverables, reports, and presentations for senior stakeholders
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, contributing to business development and proposal preparation
- Collaborate across EY service lines to deliver integrated solutions for complex client challenges
- Mentor and coach junior team members, fostering a strong team culture and development environment

To qualify for the role, you must have
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Business, or a related field
- 6–8+ years of experience in risk consulting, capital projects advisory, or project management
- Experience working on large-scale infrastructure or capital projects
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Experience in Big 4 or consulting environments
- Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Risk Management, CPA/CA is a plus)
- Exposure to sectors such as infrastructure, energy, or government
- Experience in project assurance, audits, or PMO advisory
