Position Purpose
• The Revenue Manager is responsible for day to day management of revenue, accounts receivable and revenue control environment of Transnet Pipelines.
• The Revenue Manager provides management and direction to the activities of the revenue controller/administrator of the Financial Department.
• The Revenue Manager is responsible for the cash management functions at Transnet Pipelines.
Position Outputs
• Responsible for the provision of accurate weekly, monthly and annual revenue information for Transnet Pipelines.
• Responsible for the revenue aspect of the internal and external audit.
• Responsible for ensuring divisional compliance with Transnet credit policy and adherence to the terms of the Transnet Pipelines Shippers Manual.
• Responsible for the management, training and performance management of the revenue controller.
• Responsible for the cash flow management of Transnet Pipelines.
• Ensure the completeness and accuracy of revenue by enquiry with Planners and Depot managers, and inspection of SAP reports.
• Responsible for the development and execution of the financial operational processes and policies relating to revenue and accounts receivable management.
• Engagement with external customers on revenue and accounts receivable.
• Responsible for the development and implementation of the revenue related control frameworks at Transnet Pipelines.
• Plays an integral role in the implementation of financial related projects that will improve the controls, quality, integrity and efficiencies of the revenue management
Qualifications and Experience
• B Com Honours Accounting
• 3-4 years’ experience in a finance position
• Preference will be given for person with Articles

Competencies
• Excellent Knowledge on revenue, credit and cash management
• Excellent SAP knowledge (SAP ISOIL preferred)
• Sound knowledge of internal control implementation and enhancement;
• Able to prepare and interpret revenue reporting for a medium size organisation;
• Knowledge of relevant legislation and corporate governance frameworks such as Companies Act, Income Tax Act, PFMA, etc.
