Job Description

The job holder will be main accountable & responsible for end to end stock management in territory.

Job holder will ensure the availability of Merchandise as per Sales trends, Seasonality, Promotions, Events, Sale through & Self Space.

The job holder is also responsible for Inventory health at the country thru regular cycle counts and stock take with robust follow up with RIC ensuring corrective actions & subsequent documentation to prevent shrinkage. Also Responsible for reduction of aging.

Responsible for optimum utilization of stocks with mark downs within budget norms to maximize profit.

Replenishment & Availability:

  • Responsible for ensuring optimum utilization of inventory ensuring stores are provided right stocks as per sell thru.
  • Responsible for stock turns through optimum inventory management in terms of Stock cover.
  • Responsible for stock cannibalization within territory & stores.
  • Responsible for ensuring Productivity through monitoring & driving sale through.
  • Responsible for forecasting stock requirement based on current, past sales trends.
  • Responsible for following with SCM team for clearance to GRN for priority shipments.
  • Responsible for promotion management, pricing, permit files, stock mix in floor.
  • Minimize zero display and ensure Newness in floor, core items (K) lines are available 365 days.

Inventory Process & Hygiene:

  • Responsible for regular Goods In Transit clearance of Inter Territory stocks.
  • Accountable for timely clearance of Damages in floor and trouble code stocks in WH.
  • Responsible for maintain error free inventory through control checks & following procedures to correct negative inventory, Perpetual counts, Stock takes & etc.
  • Responsible for timely planning of stock take & PI with RIC's, ensuring stock accuracy.
  • Regular to ensure timely corrections are done on negative stocks, action taken against action for shrinkage
  • Responsible for review of slow moving SKUs and suggest liquidation offers & plans..
  • Responsible for quality check of new arrival & providing feedback of the same.
  • Responsible for close monitoring of aging stocks and actions for liquidation thru sale.
  • Manage Loose component.
  • GDMS pending delivery clearance, stock reservations in warehouse to ensure fake reservations are released for selling


Damages & Shrinkage Control:

  • Responsible for loss prevent through restricting shrinkage & damages within the norms.
  • Responsible for monitoring all IN & OUT process adherence at stores to reduce & control technical shrinkage.
  • Responsible for guiding RIC, sales staff in terms of product management to ensure stock accuracy & reduce damages.
  • Review & Monitor inventory through cycle counts.
  • Responsible for ensuring timely damage segregation, repair & clearance.

Analysis & Other Tasks

  • Make report and publish to relevant stake holders for correction actions like post event analysis, zero sellers, sold without display.
  • Manage CCC team for escalated MOC cases and administrative management of team.
  • Store NPS reporting and following up to ensure KPI are achieved.
  • ECOM support, clearance of pending delivery, Click & Collect orders adherence of process and timelines.

Basic Qualification / Education / Vocational Training

  • Bachelor Degree in any field (Supply Chain Preferred)
  • Qualified & proficient in MS – Excel, Word & PPT
  • Experience in Usage of Analytical tools

Minimum Experience

  • 8-10 Years

Specific / Relevant Experience

  • 4-5+ years of experience in Retail & at least 2 year of experience in Home & Furniture Retail.
