The Senior Manager - Research and Evaluation will serve as an integral member of the RMEL team. This highly self-motivated, creative, and organized individual will lead the design, implementation, and oversight of research and evaluation initiatives within the Primary School Education Program components.
The primary goal of this role is to generate high-quality evidence and insights to build new knowledge, inform program design, improve implementation, and demonstrate evidence of impact. The role requires strong quantitative research design, great analytical skills, and a comprehensive understanding of the primary education landscape—specifically within government-run primary education settings.

Required Qualifications & Experiences:
Education: Master's or PhD in Education, Development Studies, Public Policy, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
Experience: 8+ years of progressive experience in research and evaluation, preferably within the education sector (e.g., Foundational Literacy and Numeracy [FLN], Early Childhood Education [ECE], Multi-Lingual Education, STEM) with a strong focus on public education systems.
Proven Track Record: Experience designing large-scale education-based research, including longitudinal studies. Proven background working directly with education stakeholders, including government systems, funders, and NGOs
