About the role:

As a Manager Regional Strategy you will As a Manager for Regional Strategy team in Category Management Indirect you will be responsible for supply strategies and implementation for defined global categories supporting Westinghouse's business.

You will develop comprehensive strategies to manage category spend, reduce costs, ensure results, and mitigate risk. As Manager for the Regional Strategic Team you will lead strategic programs across a defined region, ensuring agreement on corporate strategies while addressing regional our priorities. You will translate global or enterprise goals into regionally relevant strategies, drives cross‑functional execution, and enables decision‑making, performance improvement, and value creation across the region, to support our internal customers.

You will report to the Senior Manager EMEA Services & Contingent Labor, Category Management Indirect, Contingent Labor and Services and be located in Västerås, Sweden.

Model of work: hybrid.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Improve total cost of ownership (TCO) and manage supplier risk, while meeting partner requirements within assigned categories.
  • Deliver excellence through a structured category management process (spend analytics, strategy development, negotiations, partner engagement).
  • Plan, align, and engage with partners to meet savings, APT, and category spend strategies.
  • Manage spend through market/competitive analysis, creation of leverage, and professional negotiations.
  • Profile, benchmark, assess supply‑chain risks/trends to ensure security of supply.
  • Identify partner budget/demand inputs; capture VOC; and accomplish the OMS.
  • Lead RFx, supplier selection, supplier development, contract development and negotiations (including MSAs/SOWs).
  • Track metrics; conduct QBRs with preferred suppliers; and develop/monitor action plans.
  • Improve bottom‑line performance through strategic sourcing, supplier communications, payment terms, value‑stream mapping, supply‑chain optimization, and improvement projects.
  • Support and implement change‑management projects.
  • Meet export control regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of Supply Chain, procurement/category management experience, including 3+ years leading teams or complex programs
  • Team management experience.
  • Experience negotiating contracts, understanding T&Cs, including software/SaaS and professional services agreements.
  • Experience with contract management tools and other supply chain tools and systems, for terms and conditions, clause libraries, workflows, and obligation tracking, SAP/Ariba and Power BI.
