Regional System Steerer owns DAP inputs and drives their accuracy with broad set of stakeholders while championing proposal adherence.
Own all DAP inputs on regional level (full export & import forecast, costs, capacities, move counts, schedules, lanes, etc.)
Drive weekly DAP inputs with respective Regional and Area/QSC stakeholders (Sales, TMCC, OPSS, IDT, Procurement, Container Flow Planning & Steering and Flow Execution teams) and ensure complete, accurate, and timely delivered information.
Champion weekly DAP proposals with Regional Container Flow Planning & Steering team by ensuring reflection of regional specifics, and by fostering understanding, adherence, and execution.
Drive required system developments by collecting and channeling regional feedback to global development teams.
Review and challenge global and regional EQ steering strategy basis system proposals and cost impact
University degree in the field of business administration, operations-/logistics-/or transportation management, (industrial) engineering, finance, or information technology
Experience in global logistics and/or container shipping.
Excellent communication skills verbally and in writing.
Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
Reliable and motivated team player.
Ability to work independently with strong ownership for own tasks and responsibilities
Analytical mindset.
Ability to analyze large structured or unstructured data sets.
Good understanding of IT tools such as MS Office, Qlik, and ERP/data warehouse structures.
Skills in statistical programming (Python, R, others) and data visualization.
