JOB SUMMARY

The Manager, Regional AI Productivity & Copilot Enablement Lead is responsible for scaling practical, responsible and governed use of Marriott Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, approved AI agents and AI-enabled ways of working across the South China, Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan regional leadership ecosystem. The position acts as a productivity multiplier for Regional Vice President, Market Vice Presidents, Area General Managers and Regional Discipline leaders across Commercial, Operations, Finance, Human Resources and other key functions.

The role is not a technology deployment position. Its primary purpose is to build leadership capability, improve knowledge flow, reduce low-value manual work, increase consistency of decision support and help Regional leaders use Marriott’s approved AI and data environment at its best. The role works with regional senior leadership to define role-based AI competencies and enable each leader to become confident, effective and responsible in using Copilot, developing approved agent use cases and embedding AI-enabled productivity practices into daily work.

The position partners with Regional leaders, Discipline heads, property teams, Continent/COE teams, IT, data, cybersecurity, privacy, legal, HR and other relevant stakeholders to identify high-value productivity opportunities, manage a regional Copilot and AI use-case pipeline, support approved pilots, maintain reusable playbooks and knowledge assets, and ensure all AI-enabled solutions follow Marriott governance, security, privacy, records-management, access-control and responsible AI requirements.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Education and Experience

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Business Administration, Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Analytics, Hospitality Management, Organizational Transformation or another relevant discipline.
  • Ability to work credibly with Commercial, Operations, Finance, HR and other Regional Senior leadership
  • 5+ years’ progressive experience in Management consulting, business transformation, strategy and planning, digital adoption and/or transformation, productivity improvement, analytics, process improvement, change management, operations, project management or AI-enabled ways of working, preferably in a regional, multi-property or hospitality environment.
  • Process improvement mindset together with AI and Copilot knowledge
  • Must understand Hospitality environment: Hotel economics, Revpar, GOP, Marketshare, Loyalty, Owner Value driven in order to identify where AI can create business impact
  • Ability to travel occasionally for property site visits and/or Regional meetings
  • Fluent spoken and written English

Preferred

  • MBA or Master is a plus.
  • Must be comfortable working with Regional Senior Leadership level.
  • Practical experience enabling adoption of Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, approved AI agents, Power Platform or comparable enterprise AI and automation tools, with strong understanding of responsible AI, data governance and user adoption requirements.
  • Strong stakeholder consultation skills with the ability to interview senior leaders, understand functional priorities, observe repetitive work, identify productivity pain points and translate business needs into practical AI-enabled solutions and adoption plans.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, communication, facilitation, training, influencing and change-management skills. Demonstrates sound judgment, high integrity, professionalism and the ability to work effectively within governance, security, privacy and compliance requirements.
  • Strong data and process-analysis capability, including experience with advanced Microsoft Excel, Power BI or equivalent visualization tools, Power Query, process mapping, requirements documentation, user acceptance testing and benefit measurement.
  • Ability to create reusable prompts, agent instructions, playbooks, adoption materials and practical guidance that help business leaders apply AI to recurring leadership activities such as meeting preparation, follow-up, reporting, analysis, communication and decision support.
  • Ability to translate business needs into user stories, solution requirements, governance checkpoints, success measures and acceptance criteria, and to communicate effectively with both business and technology stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in spoken Chinese&Cantonese and written Simplified&Traditional Chinese is highly preferred and will be considered an advantage.

CORE WORK ACTIVITIES

AI Productivity Strategy, Governance and Leadership Enablement

  • Partners with Regional Vice President, Market Vice Presidents, Area General Managers and Regional Discipline leaders to identify the highest-value opportunities to use Copilot, approved agents and AI-enabled workflows as productivity multipliers across Commercial, Operations, Finance, Human Resources and other regional functions.
  • Develops role-based AI competency expectations and practical learning journeys for Regional senior leaders and key users, enabling them to become confident, responsible and effective users of Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio and approved Marriott AI capabilities.
  • Builds and manages a transparent regional AI productivity and Copilot use-case pipeline, prioritizing opportunities based on strategic relevance, leadership impact, feasibility, risk, scalability, user readiness and measurable productivity benefit.
  • Conducts process discovery and documents current-state and future-state workflows, recurring information needs, pain points, decision-support requirements, user stories, success measures and acceptance criteria.
  • Creates and maintains reusable prompts, agent instructions, approved workflow patterns, functional playbooks and adoption materials that help leaders apply AI to meeting preparation, follow-up tracking, reporting, analysis, communication, knowledge retrieval and decision support.
  • Works through Marriott’s Copilot governance process and relevant IT, cybersecurity, privacy, data-governance, legal, HR and business stakeholders to support intake, review, testing, approval, publishing, access control, monitoring, recertification and retirement of approved agents and AI-enabled solutions.
  • Ensures AI and automation solutions do not bypass enterprise platforms, approved technology architecture or required controls relating to information security, confidentiality, data privacy, intellectual property, records management, accessibility and responsible AI.
  • Supports the creation and maintenance of approved shared knowledge repositories and cloud-based information libraries, ensuring that content is current, permissioned, searchable, well governed and usable by Copilot-enabled workflows.
  • Coordinates solution design, pilot planning, user acceptance testing, adoption support, change management and post-launch improvement with authorized technology, governance and business stakeholders.
  • Measures adoption, usage quality, user confidence, time saved, cycle-time improvement, reduction in manual effort, consistency of outputs, user satisfaction and verified business benefits; recommends corrective actions where expected outcomes are not achieved.
  • Promotes scalable regional standards and reusable practices rather than isolated local tools, while adapting enablement support to market, function and hotel operating needs.
