The Manager will serve as a subject matter resource for rebate forecasting processes, contributing to both ongoing operational execution and broader strategic initiatives related to underwriting tools and methodologies. This role requires strong analytical capabilities, attention to detail, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, highly cross-functional environment.

Analysis & Reporting

  • Perform ad hoc analyses and reporting to support rebate forecasting decisions, including evaluation of formulary changes, pricing strategies, and forecasting assumptions.
  • Support factor analysis and investigation of changes in forecast outputs, including identification of key drivers and validation of results.
  • Assist in developing materials and summaries to support leadership review and decision-making processes.

Forecasting Process & Seasonal Support

  • Support key forecasting cycles and periodic processes (e.g., bid support, annual refreshes, and assumption reviews), ensuring timelines and deliverables are met.
  • Review and validate updates to forecasting assumptions, including confirmation of new or retiring strategies.

Testing & Quality Assurance

  • Participate in cross-team testing efforts, including end-to-end validation of forecasting outputs with underwriting and partner teams.
  • Support quality control processes, including review of model outputs, reconciliation activities, and issue identification/tracking.

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Partner with stakeholders across Underwriting, Trade, Pricing Strategy, and tool development teams to gather requirements, resolve issues, and ensure alignment on deliverables.
  • Coordinate feedback intake and issue tracking processes, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution of identified items.
  • Support communication and alignment across teams involved in rebate forecasting tool development and execution.

Process Improvement & Documentation

  • Maintain and update documentation related to rebate forecasting tools, assumptions, and processes.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reliability, and transparency of rebate forecasting processes and tools.
  • Support team-level metrics, reporting, and tracking of key activities where required.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in analytics, underwriting, actuarial, forecasting, or a related quantitative field.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas and model-based analysis.
  • Experience working with structured datasets and performing data validation and reconciliation across multiple inputs.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and operate effectively under tight timelines.
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to summarize complex analytical findings and support cross-functional discussions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with rebate forecasting concepts, contract interpretation, or pricing assumptions.
  • Experience supporting model testing, validation, and release processes.
  • Ability to work effectively in a matrixed organization and coordinate across multiple stakeholder groups.
