Job Description
Manager – Quality Assurance – Direct Imports & Private Label
- Oversee supplier quality management to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards
- Manage product testing, inspections, and quality evaluations across imported and private label products
- Conduct and review sensory evaluations to ensure product consistency and quality
- Ensure packaging and labelling compliance with applicable regulations and guidelines
- Perform risk assessments and lead issue resolution for quality-related concerns
- Maintain quality documentation, reporting, and audit records
- Manage customer complaints and implement corrective and preventive actions
- Collaborate with suppliers, internal teams, and external stakeholders to drive quality improvements
- Ensure adherence to government regulations, gazette notifications, and compliance requirements
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality standards and processes
Candidate Profile :
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Quality Management, Supply Chain, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in quality assurance, preferably in FMCG, imports, or private label environments
- Strong knowledge of quality standards, regulatory requirements, and compliance processes
- Experience in supplier quality management and conducting audits
- Familiarity with product testing, inspection processes, and sensory evaluation techniques
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work cross-functionally
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and reporting tools)
- High attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality excellence
