Job Description

As a Manager, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing our company's reputation for excellence in quality. Your primary responsibility will be to control and supervise all quality assurance activities related to BBT/IT racks/DBs for data centers. This includes overseeing the quality of materials, in-process goods, finished products, Testing as per IEC 61439 Standard and installations at customer sites. You will work closely with our team to ensure that our products meet the highest standards and exceed customer expectations.

  • Control and supervise quality assurance activities for BBT/IT racks/DBs in the plant.
  • Ensure product quality for all materials, in-process goods, and finished products.
  • Oversee the quality of installations at customer sites.
  • Implement and maintain quality control processes and procedures.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify and address quality issues.
  • Collaborate with the production team to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Provide guidance and training to quality assurance staff.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of quality assurance activities.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in quality assurance.
  • Represent the company in quality-related matters and collaborate with external stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical /mechanical engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in a quality assurance role, preferably in the electrical/Switchgear industry.
  • Strong knowledge of IEC & Indian Standards, quality management systems and standards (e.g., ISO 9001).
  • Experience in leading and managing critical processes, customer inspections.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in using quality control tools, SPC, SQC.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
  • Willingness to stay updated with industry advancements and regulations.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing work environments and priorities.
