Join Deloitte's Strategy & Transformation team in Sydney as a Manager in Public Sector Advisory, where you'll work with senior leaders across government and industry to solve complex challenges and drive lasting positive impact.

What will your typical day look like?

As a Manager, you'll take ownership of client delivery, leading teams to design and deliver impactful solutions while shaping trusted relationships with senior stakeholders. You'll play a key role in business development, thought leadership, and the growth of our people.

Your day-to-day responsibilities may include:

• Leading end-to-end delivery of projects from framing client problems to shaping actionable recommendations, enabling implementation impact and managing project risks and financials along the way
• Managing multi-disciplinary teams, providing direction, coaching, and oversight to enable high performance and professional growth
• Owning client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor, and building rapport and credibility with senior stakeholders
• Designing and facilitating executive discussions, helping clients align on their goals and make confident, strategically-informed decisions
• Driving business development through proposal development, client relationship management, and evolving our service offerings that help our clients solve their most critical issues

Additionally, you will play a key role in supporting the growth of the team, with responsibilities including:

• Driving market eminence through support of strategy and transformation thought leadership
• Building your network of connections across our national and global ecosystem
• Leading and supporting the growth and development of junior team members on projects and in the Practice

Within this role, you'll focus on improving government outcomes and helping public sector organisations achieve lasting positive impact. We work alongside senior leaders across government and industry to address high-stakes strategic and operational challenges, using evidence-based approaches to support decision-making, deliver transformative initiatives, and unlock sustainable value for citizens and stakeholders in a rapidly evolving public sector landscape.

Enough about us, let's talk about you

You may have all or some of the following skills/experiences:

• At least 5 years of experience in Consulting or Professional Services, with demonstrated delivery in the Public Sector advisory space
• Strong capability in developing strategies, operating models and transformation programs that address complex challenges, with a track record of delivering outcomes for senior stakeholders
• Strong business acumen and exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and exercise mature judgement
• Strong project management skills, balancing competing priorities while ensuring quality outcomes
• An inclusive leadership style and a collaborative approach to solving complex challenges
• A Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Law, Science, Engineering, Economics or a related discipline
• An advanced postgraduate qualification such as an MBA is preferred
• Prior experience advising on digital infrastructure, housing and infrastructure delivery, or major public sector programs that enhance service delivery, resilience, and community outcomes is highly desirable
