This is an open position with FirstEnergy Service Co., a subsidiary of FirstEnergy Corp. [FEU]
This manager position is responsible for the safe and successful completion of capital projects in the Transmission Portfolio and/or Distribution projects with regards to scope, schedule and cost. This position oversees project management function and manages both internal and external project management professionals.This position reports to the General Manager of Project Management.

EnsuringproperandtimelyuseoftheFETIssuesDatabasetocapturejobsiteefficiencyopportunitiesEnsuring recurring issues are identified andresolved
LeadingtheteaminadheringtotheFETProjectLifecycleManagementProcess(PLMP)
Participatinginvariousreviewsonprojectsprogress,positiveaccomplishments,andchallenges
PeriodicallyreviewingthevariousmetricsusedwithinProjectManagementandtakingactionasnecessary to address issues or provide positivereinforcement.
SupportingstormrestorationactivitieswhennecessaryEnsuringstaffhasanassignedprimary/backuprole and ensuring associated training is up todate
Ensuringcompliancetoas-built/red-linedrawingssubmittalandkeyprojectcloseoutactivitiesIncluding, pre-energization and post energization checklists supporting the substation and transmission line energization and inspection processes
EnsuringtheorganizationisengagedwithConstructionandSupplyChaintoensurebidpackagesare embedded with the necessary safety and qualityexpectations.
EnsuringadherencetoTaskPlanningandleanconstructionmethodologies
Periodicallyparticipatingincontractorperformanceevaluations,projectreview,andcloseout/lessons learned meetings
SupportingdevelopmentandimplementationofthedepartmentsBusinessPlanandothercontinuous improvement initiatives asrequired
Continuallymonitoringthehumanresourcerequirementsofassignedprojectswithinserviceterritoryand providing necessary level of staffing to maintain job site continuity and integrity ofbuild

Bachelors'degreeinEngineering,ConstructionManagement,orBusinesswith7yearsofrelevant experienceIn lieu of Bachelors' degree, candidates with 10 years of relevant experience will be consideredPELicenseandpreviousLeadership,Substation,or Lineconstructionexperienceare preferred (or other relevant industrial/ commercial construction experience).

FirstEnergy takes a market-based approach to pay, which may vary depending on your location. In addition, your actual base salary will depend on various factors such as your skills, qualifications, and experience.
The estimated pay range for this role is $135,575-$191,400. The pay range for certain locations, including the state of New Jersey, include a 20% differential to account for an increased cost of living, making the pay range $162,690- $229,680.
