At BHP, we believe our purpose goes beyond mining: we work to improve lives and create a more sustainable future. We are a global resources company with operations in more than 90 locations worldwide.
In Canada, our presence is growing with the development of one of the most significant potash projects in the world; Jansen. This project reflects our long-term commitment to sustainability, community engagement, and economic growth.
Imagine being part of something truly world-class, something that’s shaping the future of sustainable agriculture and responsible resource development. That’s what the Jansen Potash Project offers.
Located about 140 kilometres east of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Jansen is set to become one of the largest and most sustainable potash mines on the planet. With a CAD$14 billion (US$10.5 billion) investment, it marks the biggest private investment in Saskatchewan’s history, and a bold step forward for BHP in Canada.
But Jansen is more than a mine; it’s a long-term opportunity to build something meaningful. During construction, it will create around 5,500 jobs, and once in operation, 900 permanent roles. Whether you're looking to grow your career, contribute to a sustainable future, or be part of a legacy project, Jansen could be the place where it all begins.
At BHP, we are transforming the way mining is done. We embrace innovation, sustainability, and inclusion to build a smarter, safer, and more human future.
We are proud to be recognized as one of Canada’s Top 100 Employers for 2025, a testament to our dedication to fostering a positive, diverse, and rewarding work environment. At BHP, you’ll be part of a team that values safety, integrity, performance, and collaboration.
As the Manager Project Controls & Analysis, you will provide leadership to a team focussed on the provision of project controls (e.g. scope, estimated/actual cost, planning and scheduling, budgets, changes, progress and forecasting) to influence the on-time and on-budget delivery of project objectives. In addition, you will translate strategy into operational plans for the department expectations for quality, safety, and compliance.
