What are your contributions to the team?

Strategic Leadership & Transformation

  • Develop and execute the long-term strategic roadmap for Programs processes, governance, tools, and organizational capabilities, ensuring alignment with Bombardier's business strategy.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership by providing strategic insights, performance analysis, and recommendations to support critical business decisions.
  • Anticipate future business needs, industry trends, and digital transformation opportunities to ensure the Programs organization remains agile, efficient, and competitive.
  • Drive cross-functional transformation initiatives that improve program execution, organizational effectiveness, and customer value.

Process Excellence & Governance

  • Define and lead the evolution of the Programs operating model, ensuring standardized, scalable, and best-in-class processes across all program functions.
  • Establish and maintain a master governance framework for the development, optimization, and deployment of Bombardier Manuals (BM) related to Program Management.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Procurement, Methods, Customer Service, Finance, and other stakeholders to identify systemic improvement opportunities and eliminate organizational inefficiencies.
  • Lead continuous improvement and Kaizen initiatives focused on reducing product change cycle times and increasing organizational agility.

Digital Strategy & Innovation

  • Own the Programs digital transformation portfolio and roadmap, prioritizing investments that maximize business value and operational performance.
  • Define the strategic vision for the Programs toolbox, integrating advanced technologies, automation, analytics, and digital solutions to enhance program management capabilities.
  • Partner with IT and business stakeholders to translate strategic requirements into scalable solutions while ensuring enterprise-wide standardization and adoption.
  • Leverage data and performance metrics to drive informed decision-making and continuous optimization.

Capability Development & Organizational Growth

  • Establish and lead the Programs Academy as a strategic talent development platform designed to strengthen program management capabilities and support succession planning.
  • Develop competency frameworks, learning paths, and leadership development initiatives aligned with the evolving needs of the Programs organization.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning, innovation, accountability, and high performance.
  • Build and maintain a high-performing team by coaching employees, developing future leaders, and ensuring the acquisition of critical technical and managerial competencies.

Financial & Organizational Stewardship

  • Lead strategic planning and budget management activities for Programs initiatives and digital investments, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and return-on-investment objectives.
  • Monitor organizational performance through defined KPIs, governance reviews, and strategic dashboards, identifying risks and opportunities to achieve business objectives.
  • Ensure effective communication, change management, and stakeholder engagement across all levels of the organization.

It is responsible for defining the future vision of the Programs organization, influencing enterprise-level decisions, driving business transformation, developing organizational capabilities, and ensuring that Programs management becomes a strategic enabler of Bombardier's growth and operational excellence.

How to thrive in this role?

  • You hold a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
  • You have a strong understanding of the programs processes
  • You have a minimum of 10 years of experience in management, business development, and/or strategic planning
  • You have experience in project management as well as knowledge of aircraft development cycle.
  • You have very good presentation skills and are attentive to details at executive level
  • You have excellent bilingual oral and written communication skills
  • You have both strong organizational and leadership skills
  • You have logical and flexible mindsets, show initiatives, and demonstrate overview/detailed approaches
