The company’s portfolio includes many of the world’s most respected and influential media properties including Vogue, Vanity Fair, Glamour, Self, GQ, The New Yorker, Condé Nast Traveler/Traveller, Allure, AD, Bon Appétit and Wired, among others.

Location:

Condé Nast Germany is looking for a curious, hands-on Manager, Programmatic Strategy to join our team in Munich (relocation required).

In this role, you’ll be part of our Global Monetization Strategy team and play a key role in driving the performance and growth of our programmatic advertising business across Western Europe.

You’ll work at the intersection of data, technology, and revenue — turning insights into action and helping shape how we monetize some of the world’s leading media brands.

What You’ll Do

  • Own and drive ad analytics initiatives to improve revenue, CPMs, and overall performance across programmatic channels

  • Optimize private marketplace (PMP) deals and open auction setups across multiple SSPs (pricing, targeting, deal structure)

  • Work closely with Campaign Management, Programmatic Account Management, Ad Product and other teams to implement yield strategies

  • Build reports, dashboards, and ad hoc analyses to support data-driven decision making

  • Run A/B tests and develop quantitative analyses to improve advertising performance

  • Translate complex data into clear insights and recommendations for stakeholders across teams

  • Continuously deepen your understanding of ad tech platforms, data sources, and digital operations workflows

What You Bring

  • 3–5 years of experience in digital advertising, programmatic, yield management, or analytics

  • Strong hands-on experience with ad-serving platforms and SSPs (e.g. Google Ad Manager, Magnite, PubMatic)

  • Solid analytical skills and confidence working with large datasets

  • Experience with Excel and BI tools (e.g. Tableau, Domo, Qlik)

  • Ability to communicate complex data in a clear and actionable way

  • Good understanding of the programmatic advertising ecosystem

  • Self-driven, structured, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

  • Fluent German and English

  • Degree in Business, Economics, Mathematics or a related field (or equivalent experience)

What We Offer

  • A central Munich office with excellent public transport connections

  • A key role in shaping programmatic strategy for globally recognised brands

  • Collaboration with international teams across markets

  • A permanent position in a future-focused media company

  • Hybrid working model (4 days office / 1 day remote)

  • Learning & development opportunities and attractive benefits

📍 Location

Munich (hybrid). Please note that this role requires relocation and is not available as a fully remote position.
