The Programs Architectis responsible for designing and developing new vehicles which meet future regulatory requirements and customer competitive requirements. This group is responsible for vehicle architecture, vehicle packaging, initial systemsconcepts and component engineering design. In addition, the team resolves packaging and adaptation issues as the vehicles move toward productionThe engineer's responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, establishing physical and functional integration of vehicle systems and components during the program planning phase (concept to program approval), translating strategic and functional objectives into technical requirements, creating and analyzing alternative design concepts, packaging and integrating systems and components, and benchmarking of competitive vehiclesThe candidate will achieve these tasks by leading an extended cross functional team to balance all requirements to achieve the most optimal solutionPresentation of design concepts to higher levels of management will be required
