As our Plant Procurement Manager you will be the strategic guardian of our manufacturing ecosystem, ensuring the stability and quality of all direct materials powering our Personal Care portfolio. This is a high impact role where you will actively lead regional cost mitigation and risk management strategies.
You are the vital link connecting our manufacturing floor with external suppliers, taking total ownership of sourcing challenges before they impact production. Partnering directly with the Director of Manufacturing and the End to End Supply Chain, you will provide the critical communication, financial foresight, and operational support necessary to keep our facility agile, efficient, and running at peak performance.
Your Day to Day and The Future
Execute highly effective negotiations for specific local raw and packaging materials while collaborating with the Global Procurement team to implement category specific strategies at the manufacturing site level
Manage suppliers, materials, and procurement processes to deliver performance objectives measured by corporate, division, and local critical metrics
Facilitate collaborative relationships between suppliers, customer service, and quality functions
Collaborate with Category Manufacturing Services to develop proactive risk management strategies for key materials
Ensure the timely delivery of new products and packaging layouts according to division grids and material portfolio initiatives
Ensure the flawless implementation of key performance and compliance initiatives with suppliers
Lead the implementation of Supplier Managed Inventory programs with targeted vendors
Provide functional procurement resources and leadership support on task forces, acquisition studies, and major corporate projects
Manage budget preparation and completion utilizing sophisticated divisional and global commodity market insights
Optimize raw and packaging material inventories directly against local customer service requirements and working capital targets
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related technical/business field
8+ years of procurement experience supporting a manufacturing environment
Experience in running Requests for Information (RFIs) and Requests for Proposals (RFPs) with strong data analysis skills
Expertise in material strategies and cost models with a deep understanding of commodity impacts
Solid understanding and hands on proficiency with SAP systems, advanced procurement analytics tools, and Google Workspace
Preferred Qualifications
Master of Business Administration or professional certification such as Certified Purchasing Manager, Certified in Planning and Inventory Management, or Project Management Professional
Direct hands on plant operations or manufacturing facility experience
Deep understanding of advanced sourcing methodologies including market analysis, contract execution, and supplier relationship management
Demonstrated agility and resilience in managing competing priorities, navigating ambiguity, and driving results in a high-pressure, fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $124,000.00 - $174,000.00 USD
Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.
Benefits: Salaried employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid parental leave, disability coverage, and participation in the 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements. Additional benefits include a minimum of 15 vacation/PTO days (hourly employees receive a minimum of 120 hours) and 13 paid holidays (vacation days are prorated based on the employee's hire date within the calendar year). Paid sick leave is adjusted based on role and location in accordance with local laws. Detailed information regarding paid sick leave entitlements will be provided to employees upon hiring and may be subject to adjustments based on changes in legislation or company policies.
