Job Description

Are you passionate about helping people live their healthiest lives? Do you thrive in a dynamic, supportive environment where your contributions truly matter? If so, Medcan is the place for you!

This job posting is for a current vacancy.

The Role:

The Manager, Product & Portfolio Growthis accountable for the end‑to‑end product strategy, performance, and evolution of Medcan’s Refine and Restore offerings. Together, these products translate assessment insights into action—supporting clients in improving physical health, skin and aesthetic health, function, and overall wellbeing through clinically guided programs and services.

This role sits at the intersection of clinical innovation, client experience, and commercial performance. It requires close partnership with physicians, allied health professionals, operations, marketing, and digital teams to ensure offerings are clinically credible, clearly positioned, operationally executable, and economically sustainable. While technology may enable parts of delivery, this role does not own software development, or digital platforms.

What You’ll Do:

Product Strategy & Portfolio Leadership

  • Own the product vision, role, and roadmap for Refine and Restore within Medcan’s broader Service Portfolio Strategy.

  • Clearly define the job each product/service plays in the portfolio (e.g., assessment follow‑through, condition‑ or goal‑specific optimization, frequency and retention driver).

  • Translate portfolio strategy into prioritized investment and evolution decisions, balancing clinical value, client demand, and financial performance.

  • Own pricing strategy for Refine and Restore, including price architecture, offering, and value articulation—ensuring pricing aligns with clinical value, market context, and portfolio objectives.

  • Identify opportunities to scale these offerings as core engagements for existing clients and as targeted entry points for new clients where appropriate.

Clinical Program Development & Governance

  • Collaborate with physicians and clinical leadership across disciplines (e.g., dermatology, physiotherapy, kinesiology, nursing, allied health, etc.) to design and evolve evidence‑based, outcome‑oriented service offerings.

  • Ensure appropriate clinical governance, standards of care, and progression models are in place and consistently applied.

  • Translate clinical intent into clear service structures, eligibility criteria, care pathways, and client‑facing value propositions.

Client Experience & Journey Integration

  • Ensure Refine and Restore offerings are seamlessly integrated into the end‑to‑end client journey, particularly as extensions of Assessments and Membership.

  • Use client feedback (e.g., CSAT, journey mapping, utilization patterns) to improve program clarity, onboarding, and experience quality.

  • Partner with Operations and technology teams to support scalable, client‑friendly delivery across in‑clinic and hybrid models.

Go‑to‑Market & Performance Management

  • Partner with Marketing, Sales, and Clinician Engagement teams to define clear positioning, targeting, and go‑to‑market strategies for each offering.

  • Own key product performance metrics (e.g., adoption, attach rate, utilization, retention impact, CSAT, margin contribution).

  • Identify and address friction across referral pathways, booking, conversion, tagging, and performance visibility.

  • Support education and enablement for clinicians and client‑facing teams to drive appropriate referrals and sustained engagement.

Cross‑Functional Leadership

  • Act as the single point of product accountability for Refine and Restore across clinical, operational, commercial, and digital stakeholders.

  • Lead cross‑functional working sessions to align on priorities, sequencing, and trade‑offs.

  • Contribute to executive and board presentations related to portfolio strategy, product performance, and growth opportunities.

What You’ll Need:

  • 7+ years of experience in product management, healthcare strategy, or clinically led program or service development

  • Experience with clinically delivered services (e.g., fitness, dermatology, allied health, wellness, or longitudinal care models) strongly preferred

  • Experience with pricing, product offering, and/or subscription‑based or recurring revenue products is an asset

  • Proven ability to operate at both strategic and executional altitude

  • Strong analytical skills with comfort using data to inform prioritization and performance decisions

  • Exceptional cross‑functional leadership and stakeholder management skills

  • Ability to translate complex clinical concepts into clear product narratives and decisions

  • Background in clinical operations, allied health, or healthcare service delivery is an asset, but not required

This role is likely not a fit if you:

  • Have primarily managed software, SaaS, or digital products

  • Are seeking ownership of engineering teams, technical roadmaps, or backlogs

  • Have limited exposure to healthcare, clinical operations, or service delivery environments

Position Pay Range

$85,122.00 - $117,042.75 CAD annually
