Job Description

Build the Future of Enterprise Product & AI at NFC

NFC is embarking on an exciting phase of organisational transformation to improve outcomes for children, educators and families through Product, Innovation and Artificial Intelligence (AI).

As part of this journey, we are establishing a new Enterprise Product, Innovation & AI function to strengthen organisational capability, accelerate innovation and enable responsible AI adoption across NFC.

Reporting to the Head, AI & Innovation, you'll work with senior team members, business stakeholders, Technology teams and external partners to support enterprise initiatives and strategic products. You'll help coordinate product management, portfolio governance, innovation programmes, AI adoption and capability-building activities across the organisation.

Alongside your enterprise responsibilities, you'll also support strategic products within Curriculum & Child Support, helping translate organisational priorities and user needs into practical solutions that improve educator productivity and outcomes for children.

If you're passionate about product management, innovation and turning ideas into meaningful outcomes, we'd love to hear from you.

Why This Role Matters

Technology alone does not transform organisations.

Transformation happens when good ideas are translated into products, capabilities and ways of working that are effectively delivered, adopted and continuously improved.

This role connects enterprise planning with day-to-day execution. Your work will help ensure strategic initiatives are well coordinated, products continue to evolve based on user needs and new capabilities are successfully embedded across NFC.

What You'll Have the Opportunity to Build

As a member of NFC's Enterprise Product, Innovation & AI function, you'll contribute to building:

  • Enterprise product and innovation practices that support consistent delivery.

  • Portfolio governance and reporting that strengthen enterprise oversight.

  • Responsible AI adoption and organisational capability.

  • Reusable product assets, knowledge resources and ways of working.

  • Strategic products that improve educator productivity and child outcomes.

  • Strong partnerships across business units, Technology teams and the broader innovation ecosystem.

What You'll Do

Your role spans enterprise coordination, product operations and strategic product delivery.

Enterprise Portfolio & Product Operations

You'll support the coordination of enterprise initiatives by:

  • Supporting portfolio planning, governance reviews and executive reporting.

  • Preparing dashboards, governance papers and programme updates.

  • Tracking progress, risks, dependencies, benefits and key performance indicators.

  • Maintaining product documentation, reusable templates and governance resources.

Product Management & Business Analysis

You'll support strategic products within Curriculum & Child Support by:

  • Coordinating product discovery, user engagement, requirements gathering and backlog management.

  • Supporting roadmap planning, product testing, release coordination and continuous improvement.

  • Translating business and user needs into clear product requirements.

  • Working with educators, curriculum specialists, Technology teams and external partners to deliver practical solutions.

Innovation, AI & Organisational Capability

You'll help strengthen organisational capability by:

  • Coordinating innovation programmes, pilots and responsible AI adoption initiatives.

  • Supporting workshops, capability-building activities and Communities of Practice.

  • Maintaining playbooks, prompt libraries, knowledge assets and learning resources.

  • Developing communications and guidance that help users adopt new products and ways of working.

Benefits Realization & Partnerships

You'll help strengthen organisational value by:

  • Tracking product adoption, usage, user experience and business outcomes.

  • Preparing insights that support benefits realisation and evidence-based decisions.

  • Building productive working relationships with business stakeholders, Technology teams, vendors and external partners.

  • Supporting grant reporting, partnership activities and external engagements.

  • Supporting additional strategic initiatives as the Enterprise Product, Innovation & AI function continues to evolve.

What Success Looks Like

Within your first year, you'll have become a trusted member of the Enterprise Product, Innovation & AI team, supporting the effective coordination of enterprise initiatives and strategic products.

You'll have contributed to stronger portfolio governance, product operations, AI adoption and organisational capability, while helping deliver measurable improvements in educator experience and organisational effectiveness.

Most importantly, you'll have helped establish the foundations that enable Product, Innovation and AI to create sustained value across NFC.

Who We're Looking For

This role is suited to someone who enjoys connecting people, ideas and execution to deliver meaningful outcomes.

You're organised, curious and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail. You enjoy solving problems, learning new concepts and working with diverse stakeholders to turn ideas into practical solutions.

You understand that successful products require more than technology—they require strong collaboration, disciplined execution, user adoption and continuous improvement.

Above all, you're motivated by contributing to new capabilities and products that create lasting organisational impact.

Qualifications & Experience

We're looking for someone with approximately 5–8 years' experience across product management, business analysis, innovation, digital transformation, AI enablement or related disciplines.

You'll ideally bring experience in:

  • Coordinating cross-functional initiatives involving multiple stakeholders.

  • Supporting product management, innovation or transformation programmes.

  • Gathering and translating business requirements into practical solutions.

  • Working with business and Technology teams on digital or AI-enabled initiatives.

  • Supporting governance, reporting, benefits tracking and continuous improvement.

  • Driving product adoption and stakeholder engagement.

A Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, Information Systems, Engineering, Education or a related discipline is expected. Professional certifications in Product Management, Agile, Business Analysis, Design Thinking or Project Management will be advantageous.

Leadership Attributes

We're looking for someone who demonstrates:

  • Strong organisational and planning skills.

  • Structured problem-solving and analytical thinking.

  • Effective stakeholder engagement and communication.

  • Curiosity, adaptability and a continuous learning mindset.

  • A proactive and collaborative approach.

  • A commitment to delivering measurable organisational outcomes.
