Job Description

This is a hands-on product execution role within a lean, startup-style team. You will work closely with Senior Product Managers to turn strategy into shipped products that are used in real classrooms and child support workflows.

You will help run disciplined MVP cycles, shape practical solutions grounded in real educator workflows, and ensure products deliver measurable value while staying within clear ethical and governance boundaries.

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

MVP Planning and Delivery

  • Deliver MVP releases across both portfolios that solve a clear educator, specialist, or parent pain point.
  • Break portfolio intent into small, testable increments with defined timelines, scope, success criteria, and measurable outcomes.
  • Drive delivery milestones and keep execution on track.

Live Validation and Impact

  • Test MVPs in live centre settings before wider rollout.
  • Run structured feedback loops with educators and key stakeholders.
  • Track outcome signals such as time saved, reduced rework, clarity gained, and practitioner confidence. Consolidate evidence to support scale, refine, pause, or stop
  • decisions.

Cross Functional Delivery

  • Coordinate vendors, Tech, Data, Child Development, Child Support Services and Operations to resolve trade-offs quickly.
  • Translate operational needs into clear requirements and acceptance criteria.
  • Monitor delivery progress and escalate blockers early.

Delivery Risk and Governance

  • Identify delivery risks, scope creep, and workflow friction early and act on them.
  • Maintain decision logs, release notes, and implementation standards.
  • Ensure changes are assessed for operational impact before release.

Stakeholder Alignment and Ownership

  • Drive alignment across teams without relying on formal authority.
  • Hold accountability for timelines, quality, and agreed outcomes.
  • Ensure clarity on ownership, decisions, and next steps.

Communication and Enablement

  • Provide clear updates on status, risks, trade-offs, and required decisions.
  • Document workflows and rollout guidance in plain language.
  • Support change communication and adoption where needed.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

  • MVPs are released into real centre and child development workflows, not just demonstrated.
  • Each release addresses a clearly defined pain point and shows measurable improvement such as time saved, reduced documentation steps, clearer next actions, or
  • faster prioritisation.
  • Live pilots generate structured feedback and usage evidence that informs documented scale, refine, pause, or stop decisions.
  • Delivery stays within agreed scope and timelines, with minimal rework caused by unclear requirements or late changes.
  • Operational risks and workflow friction are identified early and resolved before broader rollout.
  • Cross-functional teams remain aligned because ownership, milestones, and trade-offs are explicit.
  • Leadership receives concise, evidence-based updates that support clear decisions without additional clarification rounds.

QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline such as Business Administration, Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6-8 years of relevant experience
  • Postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
  • Experience in product management, product ownership, or structured digital solution delivery, with exposure to AI-enabled or data-driven products.
  • Experience in education, public sector, or other regulated environments is an advantage.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • A hands-on product executor who can turn direction into shipped outcomes. Someone who is comfortable working from a defined portfolio intent and translating it into clear scope, structured MVP cycles, and measurable results.
  • You frame problems clearly, break work into practical increments, and move initiatives forward without waiting for perfect conditions.
  • You are structured, disciplined, and able to operate under ambiguity without losing focus on timelines and quality.
  • You understand how to validate products in live environments, gather feedback, and make evidence-based recommendations.
  • You are comfortable coordinating across Tech, Data, Child Development, Child Support Services and Operations, resolving trade-offs and keeping delivery on track.
  • You are pragmatic about AI and data.
  • You understand guardrails, risk boundaries, and the difference between useful decision support and overreach.
  • You communicate clearly, escalate early, and take ownership for delivery outcomes rather than task completion.

WHY THIS ROLE IS UNIQUE

  • You will be building products in live classroom and child development environments where the impact is visible and measurable.
  • You will operate within a newly formed product function where processes, standards, and guardrails are still being shaped.
  • Your work will influence how products are built and validated going forward.
  • You will work at the intersection of curriculum, AI, and operational practice, ensuring tools reduce friction.
  • You will have direct visibility to senior leadership and contribute to scale decisions that affect how initiatives expand or stop.
  • This role combines disciplined delivery with real-world impact in a lean, high-ownership environment.
