
As a technical product manager, the individual will serve as a liaison among various teams, facilitating collaboration between technology, product, and business groups. Primary responsibilities include developing features for existing and new platforms, leading integrations with new businesses, and ensuring that AML & Sanctions requirements meet regulatory obligations while supporting business enablement.
Candidates should demonstrate a strong work ethic, leadership ability, sound judgment, effective time management, and the capacity to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. An understanding of the payment industry and Visa’s Compliance program is required to develop requirements for building new features. The group supports multiple products and verticals across Visa, requiring strong collaboration, relationship-building, and partnership skills with engineering, operations, product, compliance, and other internal teams.
This role requires interest in payment innovation, technology, and product management, attention to detail, and the ability to achieve results within a complex setting. Technical competence in database queries, supporting large-scale platforms, troubleshooting incidents, conducting data analysis, and participating in technical and functional solution development is necessary.
The position also requires familiarity with current industry developments, strong organizational abilities, written and verbal communication skills, analytical thinking, structured problem-solving, and experience in customer or partner interaction, management, and software solution delivery.
Essential Skills -
Education & Experience: 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a bachelor’s degree or at least 6 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g., Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or a minimum of 2 years of work experience with a PhD.
Experience with Compliance systems and strong analytical skills.
Understanding of payment processing and Visa Net/payment ecosystem a plus.
