ABOUT THE JOB

As the Design Manager, you are accountable for leading and overseeing the design team within your domain, ensuring alignment with strategicobjectivesandmaintaininga high standard of design quality. As a People Leader, you manage theday-to-dayteam operations, guide performance, and support career growth through meaningful feedback and development conversations, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.

MAINJOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Leadership - Lead and manage the design team within your domain/sub-domain ensuring effective collaboration and communication within and between chapter teams and build strong stakeholder relationships to increase the impact and reach of design.

• Development - Continuously explore emerging design trends, conduct research, and experiment withnew designmethodologies to drive product and service excellence and inspire the team.

• Strategy - Operationalise design strategies into daily activity for the design team

• Research and Testing - Ensure team members apply best practices in research and user testing within projects

• Design Solutions - Stay across all design outputs and strategies to align and inform all design work.

• End to End Experience - Track in-flight and upcoming design work across all stages of theend to endexperience.

• Quality and Consistency - Enforcehigh standardsfor design quality across all projects, conducting regular reviews and critiques to ensure the output meets both user needs and businessobjectives

• Inclusive Design -Advocate for the importance of inclusive design and provide training & support to the team on inclusive design principles & practices

• Design System - Support the design team in implementing the design system consistently across projects, ensuring they have the resources and training to use the system effectively.

• Stakeholder Engagement and Influence - Manage stakeholder relationships,facilitatingclear communication on project goals and design progress, and collaborating to align design team goals with businessobjectives

• Fulfil other tasks as assigned by your People Leader and/or authorized representative of NAB Vietnam from time to time.

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• People leadership experience

• 7+years experienceworking as a product designer or UX/UI designer

• Experience within a finance or service industries

• Demonstrated ability to partner and successfullywork with multiple disciplines and complex teamsanddemonstratethe value of design

• Excellent working knowledge of the design process, experience designmethodologiesand principles

• Demonstrated strong experience working in Agile, using agile tools & methods

• Strong ability to independently perform the essential capabilitiesrequiredin this role

• Proven experience setting and using design processes and tools to digitise experiences

Qualification Requirements

• Preference for tertiary qualification in related industry
