This role focuses on leading a team of 6 product designers across various design disciplines (UX, UI, content design, UX research). You’ll oversee the end-to-end design of [domain], working closely with product managers, engineering, and marketing to ensure designs align with business goals and user needs in a fast-paced, high-impact environment. In this role, responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Lead and Manage the Design Team:
Oversee the workload and project timelines for a team of 8 product designers for 3 trading platforms across various design disciplines (UX, UI, content design, UX research), ensuring design work is delivered on time while maintaining high quality. Foster a collaborative and growth-oriented culture within the team.
• Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams:
Work with product managers, engineers, and marketing to ensure designs meet business goals and user needs. Act as the bridge between design, development, and marketing to ensure consistent and effective design solutions.
• Design Strategy & Execution:
Lead the design process from ideation to execution, ensuring that designs align with product goals. Actively innovate the design processes and artifacts to boost the team to run with a higher efficiency and performance.
• Push AI Integration in Design:
Actively drive exploration of AI tools with your team to boost design efficiency. Support the team in integrating AI to automate tasks, enhance workflows, and improve the overall design process.

• Experienced Design Leader:
You have 5+ years of experience leading and mentoring design teams, with a strong background in product design across UX, UI, content, and research. You’re comfortable managing teams, setting priorities, and ensuring quality delivery.
• Collaborative Communicator:
You excel in communicating and aligning design goals with product managers, engineers, and other key stakeholders. You can facilitate cross-functional discussions, ensuring design solutions align with business and technical requirements.
• AI Enthusiast:
You are proactive in exploring AI tools to streamline the design process and increase team efficiency. You’re passionate about using AI to innovate in design workflows, automation, and user testing.
• UI & Design System Expert: [Optional]
You have deep experience in UI design and design systems. You understand how to maintain and evolve a design system, ensuring it supports scalability and consistency while adapting it to new features and trader needs.
Compensation Information:
• Base salary range: $135,000 - $165,000
• The final compensation package will be commensurate with the successful candidate's experience, skills, and geographic location (Canada). It includes a comprehensive benefits plan and a competitive incentive (bonus) program for Full-Time Permanent roles.
