Manager, Product Application Engineering – ReRAM / NVM Solutions
Location: Scottsdale, AZ
The Product Applications Engineering Manager leads the system definition, customer adoption, and product shaping of ReRAM based NVM solutions. This role serves as the critical bridge between end application requirements and silicon development, owning product requirements and driving differentiated, application ready solutions. The role goes beyond traditional applications support, establishing reference architectures, system use cases, and solution frameworks that accelerate adoption across automotive, industrial, and consumer markets.
Responsibilities
- Product Definition & Development
- Owns product requirements by translating customer and system needs into product specifications, features, and datasheets.
- Collaborate with design, validation, and test teams to ensure product features align with market needs.
- Quantify and communicate system level value (latency, endurance, power, integration).
- Support evaluation boards, reference designs, and solution kits for new product introductions.
- Customer Engagement & Technical Support
- Serve as the primary technical interface for key customers and strategic opportunities.
- Create reference system designs showcasing ReRAM advantages vs EEPROM/Flash.
- Drive design-in success, including system debugging, performance optimization, and issue resolution.
- Develop technical documentation, application notes, and training materials for internal teams and external partners.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with marketing, sales, and FAEs to drive product positioning and competitive differentiation.
- Own technical insights for go-to-market strategies and promotional activities.
- Strategic Planning & Market Intelligence
- Analyze market trends and competitive offerings in EEPROM and ReRAM technologies.
- Influence roadmap through direct VOC and competitive benchmarking
- Design win conversion and revenue impact
- Adoption of reference designs across customers
- Time-to-design-in / time-to-ramp improvement
- Product features driven by Voice of Customer (VOC)

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in applications engineering or product definition, preferably with EEPROM, ReRAM, or other NVM technologies.
- Strong knowledge of memory architectures, interface protocols (I²C, SPI, etc.), and embedded systems.
- Familiarity with circuit design, PCB layout, and mixed-signal concepts.
- Excellent communication skills for customer facing interactions and technical presentations.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in automotive, industrial, or telecom applications.
- Understanding of IC packaging and electronic measurement techniques.
