Person will be responsible for the effective and efficient management of designated areas of work,
developing strong relationships with key stakeholders within the corporate and factory levels and to
execute sourcing strategies for commodities to drive value and significantly impact bottom-line profitability.

● Devise and employ fruitful sourcing strategies to discover the most profitable suppliers and
initiate business partnerships in the areas of Sheet metal, Stamping, Die-Casting and
machined components
● Negotiate with external suppliers to secure the most advantageous terms and track key
functional metrics to improve the effectiveness of suppliers and be accountable for supplier
agreements
● Support on New product development by early engagement of suppliers impacting overall cost
and supplier selection.
● Manage Total Cost Of Ownership ( BOM , Overall Cost Structure , Quality & logistics )
● Develop a detailed strategic approach to managing components as a commodity to set future
targets across standards, cost, performance, and Lead time
● Collaborate with key cross-functional stakeholders and supplier partners to demonstrate Product
Leadership of new launches and expectations of the company
● Perform risk management regarding supply contracts and agreements
● Analysing and deciphering change/improvement opportunities to add value to business -
Support new key value-based initiatives in the commodity space
● Creating justification, communication, and gaining consensus for new projects/initiatives to
improve process, cost and business performance
● Can demonstrate good leadership abilities in managing conflicts among a cross-functional team
10-12 years relevant experience
● Bachelor's degree
Knowledge about Zero-based costing/Total cost of ownership & reference cost analysis
● Deep understanding of Stamping, Die-Casting and machined components manufacturing
process, raw material technical understanding, usage & cost associated with it
● Sound knowledge of different tools/dies
● Negotiation Skill Set
