Key Accountabilities:

1. Strategic Sourcing & Cost Management

• Develop and execute procurement strategies to support business objectives and ensure supply continuity.
• Lead supplier selection, sourcing activities, and commercial negotiations to achieve best value, quality, and service.
• Drive cost-saving initiatives, productivity improvements, and total cost optimization.

1. Supplier Performance & Risk Management

• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers while monitoring performance in quality, delivery, and cost.
• Identify and mitigate supply chain risks through supplier development, alternative sourcing, and contingency planning.
• Ensure supplier compliance with company standards, contractual obligations, and business requirements.

1. Procurement Operations & Team Leadership

• Optimize inventory levels and purchasing processes to support operational efficiency and working capital targets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Planning, Operations, Quality, Engineering, Finance, and Logistics.
• Lead, coach, and develop the procurement team while driving continuous improvement and accountability.

Key Qualifications & Requirements:

Education Qualification:

• BS/BA required; preferably in Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management or Business Management MBA a plus.

Relevant Experience:

• 8 years purchasing operations experience with international supply chain network
• Knowledge of coordinating all of the entities involved in a supply chain
• Experience in the strategic planning and product/service sourcing
• Experience of liaising with suppliers/contractor to achieve company objective at the most competitive price
• Knowledge of Disk drive commodities and able to bargain for the best price.

Others:

• Good command of English communication on both speaking and writing
• Be able to travel oversea
• Can work out of office hours
• Willing to take special assignment as needed.
