Job Description

We are looking for an experienced, highly collaborative, and results-oriented Manager, Pro Marketing – Security to support and execute marketing strategy, commercialization plans, and growth initiatives across our Security dealer audiences. Reporting to the Director, Pro Marketing – Security, this role will translate business priorities, product launches, lifecycle changes, and customer insights into clear go-to-market plans, dealer-facing communications, enablement tools, and integrated campaigns.

This person will serve as a key contributor across Security initiatives, partnering closely with sales, product management, channel marketing, brand, digital, training, and agency partners to ensure consistent messaging, strong execution, and measurable impact. The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands-on—able to simplify complex information, manage assigned cross-functional workstreams, and build programs that support dealer retention, engagement, demand generation, and revenue growth.

JOB DUTIES:

Strategy & Planning

  • Support the Director in developing Security marketing strategies aligned to business priorities, growth goals, and portfolio plans.
  • Support planning and manage execution for assigned go-to-market initiatives, including product launches, lifecycle transitions, dealer programs, events, and demand generation campaigns.
  • Help translate business, sales, and product objectives into clear marketing plans, timelines, messaging frameworks, and activation tools.
  • Recommend opportunities to improve dealer engagement, campaign effectiveness, and consistency across Security dealer marketing touchpoints.

Commercialization & Launch Execution

  • Manage commercialization workstreams for Security product launches, service launches, platform updates, and portfolio changes.
  • Develop dealer-facing messaging, launch toolkits, sales enablement materials, presentations, FAQs, webinar content, portal copy, and campaign assets.
  • Partner with marketing teammates, product management, sales, training, brand, digital, and agency teams to ensure launch plans are coordinated, on time, and aligned to the needs of Security dealers.
  • Simplify complex technical, product, or lifecycle information into clear, actionable guidance for sales teams, channel partners, and customers.

Security Pro Engagement

  • Build marketing programs, communications, and enablement tools that help Security dealers understand, position, and sell our solutions effectively.
  • Support dealer retention, winback, upgrade, and growth initiatives through targeted communications, segmentation, and audience-specific messaging.
  • Manage ongoing SecurityPro communications, including newsletter content, webinars, portal content, campaign updates, and sales-facing materials.
  • Represent the voice of Security dealers in assigned projects, ensuring marketing outputs are practical, relevant, and easy to activate.

Campaign Management

  • Manage execution of integrated campaigns across digital, email, content, events, webinars, sales enablement, and partner channels.
  • Work with internal teams and agency partners to develop campaign briefs, creative direction, content plans, and activation timelines.
  • Ensure campaign assets are aligned to approved positioning, brand standards, legal/compliance requirements, and audience needs.
  • Monitor campaign performance and recommend optimizations to improve engagement, lead generation, and contribution to business goals.

Cross-functional Leadership

  • Act as a day-to-day marketing point of contact for assigned Security initiatives, coordinating across product, sales, channel, digital, brand, training, operations, and agency partners.
  • Share best practices and provide collaborative support to marketing teammates on assigned initiatives, helping strengthen effective planning and execution.
  • Manage project timelines, stakeholder reviews, approvals, and dependencies to keep assigned initiatives moving forward.
  • Help maintain alignment across project teams so dealers and sales teams receive a consistent, cohesive experience.
  • Support the development of clear updates, recommendations, and presentation materials for leadership reviews and cross-functional meetings.

Analytics & Optimization

  • Track and report on campaign, launch, and communications performance using available data and dashboards.
  • Analyze results to identify what is working, where improvements are needed, and how marketing programs can better support dealer engagement and revenue goals.
  • Use segmentation, performance insights, and sales feedback to refine messaging, targeting, and activation plans.
  • Support reporting on marketing effectiveness, campaign performance, and contribution to marketing and business objectives.

You Must Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, product marketing, channel marketing, commercial marketing, or related disciplines.
  • 2+ years of experience supporting B2B, channel, dealer, distributor, reseller, contractor, installer, technology, SaaS, manufacturing, or related go-to-market programs.
  • Experience developing and executing product launch, commercialization, campaign, or sales enablement programs.
  • Strong written communication, presentation, and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex information into clear customer- and sales-facing guidance.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional projects, timelines, stakeholders, and agency partners.

We Value:

  • Security, video surveillance or adjacent industry experience.
  • Experience with dealer, distributor, reseller, contractor, installer, or professional channel marketing.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
  • Experience developing lifecycle, migration, upgrade, end-of-life, or change-management communications.
  • Data-driven mindset with strong analytical, reporting, and optimization skills.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to influence in a matrixed environment.
  • Experience managing campaign budgets, co-branded campaigns, or agency scopes of work.
  • Strong business communication skills and the ability to prepare clear updates, recommendations, and supporting materials.

WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU:

  • A key advantage of joining Resideo is the company's commitment to New Product Introduction (NPI), giving employees the opportunity to work on high-visibility launches that directly impact business growth.
  • Enjoy work-life balance with generous vacation time that can be scheduled with manager approval based on business priorities and personal needs, without pre-set maximums.
  • Immediate eligibility for Resideo benefits, including Medical, Dental, Vision insurance and 401K.
