What You’ll Do:
▪ Own end-to-end pricing for import and export shipments across Ocean Freight and Air Freight, ensuring accuracy, speed, and commercial competitiveness at every step.
▪ Deliver precise, competitive quotations, RFQs, and spot rates with a sharp focus on turnaround time.
▪ Engage proactively with shipping lines, airlines, overseas partners, domestic vendors, and internal teams to secure the best freight rates and pricing support.
▪ Track and analyse market trends, freight fluctuations, carrier pricing, and competitor benchmarks to keep the organisation commercially ahead.
▪ Partner with the Sales and Key Account teams to craft sharp pricing strategies that win customer proposals and unlock new business opportunities.
▪ Lead rate negotiations with carriers, overseas colleagues and logistics partners to secure favourable terms and service contracts.
▪ Maintain meticulous pricing records, vendor rate sheets, and quotation trackers to enable data-driven decision-making.
▪ Drive quick, high-quality responses to customer enquiries, upholding service standards that set us apart.
▪ Collaborate closely with Operations and Customer Service to ensure all pricing commitments are commercially viable and operationally executable.
▪ Cultivate strong, trust-based relationships with internal stakeholders, overseas offices, vendors, and logistics partners.
▪ Lead tender submissions and negotiate annual freight contracts with key customers.
▪ Continuously identify pricing improvement opportunities and champion process efficiencies that drive higher business conversion.

What You Bring:
• Graduate in any discipline; what matters most is your expertise and commercial mindset.
• 5–10 years of hands-on experience in Freight Forwarding Pricing (Imports & Exports).
• Proven expertise in Ocean Freight and Air Freight pricing across imports and exports.
• Solid understanding of freight forwarding operations, shipping documentation, logistics, and supply chain services.
• Demonstrated ability to negotiate effectively with shipping lines, airlines, transporters, and overseas partners.
• Strong command of pricing structures, RFQs, tenders, and freight market dynamics.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication; articulate, professional, and persuasive.
• Strong business correspondence skills with customers and vendors across multiple geographies.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; sound working knowledge of Word and PowerPoint.
• Commercially astute with strong negotiation instincts and sharp analytical ability.
• Ability to prioritise effectively, work to tight deadlines, and manage multiple enquiries without dropping the ball.
• Prior experience specifically in freight forwarding imports & exports pricing is mandatory.
