Job Description

Multiple area/facility management, operational mgmt of technical staff and jr. facility supervisor staff with people management responsibilities Serves as a cross-functional team member and liaison, SME consultant to offsite affiliates (ABC, LU, etc.)Management of all operational issues and can work autonomously using good decision making skills.

Responsibilities

  • Plans, organizes, and controls the resources within the functional area in accordance with the needs of the department.
  • Proficiently manages all procedural policies and strategizes for more effective and practical programs
  • Effectively engages with research groups to seek out input to assess strategy and meet business needs . Plans and strategizes with direct communication with partners for long range planning
  • Responsible for implementing and maintaining the effectiveness of the quality system. Maintains proper inventory of supplies in multiple areas if applicable. Plans and strategizes with direct communication with partners for long
  • budgetary range planning
  • Ensures compliance with GLP, OSHA, and EHS regulations and staff meeting all necessary training requirements Preparation of facility and partners with user groups to be focal contact for inspection agencies
  • Subject matter expert for operational and technical applications, writing and review of standard operating procedures and delegates as
  • appropriate
  • Autonomously edits/authors SOPs
  • Responsible for the coordinating financial (capital and functional expense) and administrative activites of the department as well as the integrity of the scientific output

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree/equivalent years of experience
  • Minimum 12 years relative work (discipline) experience
  • Minimum 7 years specialized work experience AND in Supervisory/Management role
  • At least 3 years experience in a GMP/GLP regulated environment Specialized certification preferred
  • Specialized certification preferred; Demonstrated skills in written, oral and presentation communication including proficiency using word
  • processing, spreadsheets and presentation software.
