Be part of a team delivering strategic leadership on water policy with a national and Murray-Darling Basin focus. The Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water leads the way in protecting our environment, securing water resources, and driving sustainable outcomes for communities, industry and ecosystems across NSW.
As a Manager Policy Intergovernmental, you will play a key leadership role in shaping NSW’s position in national forums, including the Murray–Darling Basin, and influence complex policy negotiations with Commonwealth, state and territory partners.
About the Role
You will lead the development and negotiation of intergovernmental water policy and provide high-level, evidence-based advice to senior executives and Ministers.
This is a strategic and influential role requiring strong policy capability, stakeholder management and negotiation expertise in complex and politically sensitive environments.
